Well because I am letting the boy go i have not named him, I am letting the friend who is having him name him instead as much as it hurts, Although the little girl is now called Honey, thought it was quite fitting as she is such a sweet piggie and always cuddling up to her brother and momma and hates being alone

Ahh Honey is cute!! She sounds like Fraidy, Fraidy hated being alone. He always snuggled up to LJ and Lola ...... he even hates being alone to this day. But, today he is alone because of their fight. Honey is cute though! You can name the boy even though your friend will rename him. I would! I would call him whatever I wanted to call him, and that can be his special nickname from you and your bond with him when you go see him.

I like the name Honey. It seems to fit her, just as Fraidy fits Misspiggy's little guy. Now to see how long before she has a nickname!!!

Wishing your little bundle of delight all the best!

Honey is coming into her own now, she is lovely but then will wheek soo loudly at the top of her voice and then has a novel way of eating food, as she is soo small she sits in it and eats out of it. Maybe keep the bowel all to herself lol!

I literally LOL when you said the thing about Stewie and how you're trying to ignore the reasoning (family guy) I watch that cartoon and that baby is a hoot though I do understand why you're looking the other way at that haha.
Ahh honey sounds cute. Fraidy had the highest pitched wheek also, it literally hurt my ears and made me cringe. And he would do it all the time. Honey and Friady sound a lot alike, both small, both like to snuggle with brother, both wheek loud.

He'll be okay!! He's going to your friends house and he'll have his new pal. Since you friend knows and trusts you, she could skip quarantine ... but it might be good to let Stewie relax for a day or two before introducing him to his new pal (whats his name?)

Try asking threelittlepigs who makes gorgeous piggy items or if not I know someone who makes hammocks for chinchillas that would be suitable. cavycozies.webs.com/apps/webstore/

Threelittlepigs definitely makes quality items that will not only do the job well but last. If you are at all handy, you can probably make some of your own.
Any fleece would work as would some other materials. Double the fabric in the corners for strength, and add gromits (no, not the Wallace and kind, but the ones that make finished holes). You can buy different sized gromits at most sewing notions places or in hardware/diy stores. Some come with the right tool included, or you can buy the tool separately. Just install the gromits in the doubled corners and use whatever you want to attach the hammocks to the cage.

Will have a look in the local store where I live to see what i can find, just I have a high roof on the cage so need something with long straps. Just want to give them something else to cuddle in to apart from their houses and its fun at the same time. Thanks for all the advice will most likely be giving threelittlepigs a bell lol

Thanks for all the advice with the hammocks!
It is seperation day tomorrow for Stewie, dont like to think of him being on his own for a month before he gets picked up but has to happen unless I want more little piggies which i dont think I do. I will make sure stewie gets plenty of attention to keep him happy. It will also be re introduction day of tia to the other two. I am unsure how it is going to go with Flick and Tia tho as ever since tia had the babies they have hated each other and also concerned about how they will react the babies. I have had them out then flick seems to bully them a little. Obviously I will wash the cage out totally and clean everything and give them all a bath. Are their any other hints and ideas on how to help the situation.
