I might start posting daily pictures of the grey gloom we're getting round here, see if anyone can spot a difference from one day to the next!

Ha ha Bean love, that sounds a good idea, a bit like down here too!! The beauty of Cornwall is usually eclipsed by bad weather, the same in Scotland I should think because it is so beautiful there too.

We're getting beautiful blue sky, but also getting the heat. Since we have a/c, I'd rather have the sun and heat. I hope it breaks soon, Bean. The dull weather drags down my spirits, the longer it lasts.

Love that one - the colours, but also anything with birds/ tress in is a winner!
Do you work really long hours if you're so often catching the sun rise and set?!

Many of these pics were taken when I had a job that required me to get up at 4am. Now I have to get up at 5am, but I still get to see a lot of sunrises. I still love sunsets, though. Life's short, we need to try to enjoy every moment we can. This is an Ohio sunrise!

Love that one.
You're right that we do tend to take a lot of life simple pleasures for granted in the hurly-burly of everyday life. I remember watching the sunset last time we flew, but on a daily basis it's something I don't register so much. But I should as I love all the colours. I always have an eye out for a good tree though...

Nice Ohio sunrise. I'm more likely to catch the sunrise than sunset, though in winter, I get them both
