We have some great banners for various times of the year for Wheekers, designed by Alix. We don't have an Easter one so we thought we'd have a competition to let you all have a go at designing one. The basic banner needs to be included. Here is the Halloween one as an example: and the basic banner for you to work on Anyone at Wheekers is eligible to have a go. Please PM your design to either Treen or Newpig. Entries will close at 12.00 (Noon) (UK time) on Monday 11th April 2011. The mods and admins will then vote for the winner (no-one will be allowed to vote for their own entry) and then the new banner will appear on the forum over Easter.

Looking forward to seeing what people come up with! I might have a go myself - I was thinking of scribbling over it with a thick brown marker so it looks all chocolatey?!

I'm afraid we don't really have any way to credit other people's images on the banner (that includes Microsoft clipart as you're supposed to credit that I think?) - we were just intending people to add their own creations and embelishments to the picture, hope that is okay! It doesn't have to be super stylish, it could be something funny!

Oh I can't wait to get in on this. I'll start some time tonight or tomorrow. Is it just easter that you want or can I make a few others as well?

Sounds fun, but I'll have to sit this one out. Creative art projects are not my forte. I'll just have to admire the winner's creativity!

Is it just easter that you want or can I make a few others as well? Well, this is just a competition for Easter, but if it goes well then I'm sure we could run it for other occasions! Have you got any particular ones in mind? Looking forward to seeing what you come up with, Erin!

I was thinking of adding a summer time one. But I'll hold off on sending any others I make. I passed right out last night, had a long day. But I'll work on it tonight.

i dont have the crafting skills but what about lil bunny ears on a piggy thats sitting in a basket full of eggs .... or a similar idea of a sleeping piggy with the bunny ears and quasi-visable easter eggs in the area around him with the caption "Finally All Done.. Time For A Nap!"
corny i know but hey its 6:30 am for me lol
