Well, as some of the peeps from CC may already know, Bazz and Gimpie have been having little fun with each other lately. They dislike each other's company and I don't have any more cages at the moment to separate them all so that our Alpha male Bazz is happy, and gimpie can live with one of his brothers (as they faught when both brothers lived with Gimpie). Anyways, I made Gimpie a new little hide away den out of one of my Dad's beer boxes. I made a slanty roof (so proud of myself hehe) as shown below: he is enjoying it lol. But this morning I came out and found this! which is the box tipped in it's back bascially! So I start putting the veggies into their cage and more to my horror, I see this! I was sure he was behind the box hiding from me lol. Who knows how long he was in there! I couldn't stop giggling hehe Gimpie is so silly!

Aww bless him - he is a cutie! I'm sorry he and Bazz aren't getting along so well now though.
I always cut the bottoms out of boxes - not just so they don't get stuck, but mainly because they tend to wee in them, so removing the bottom extends the life!

Very cute ... maybe his buddy scared him and the box toppled over?

Very true Treen about them weeing in them. Jasmine will always wee where she is sitting, shes just too lazy to move lol
I hope things calm down between Bazz and Gimpie .

Yes, well I've hcanged around the living arrangements. The girls now live in the bottom cage where Gimpie and Bazz were (out of which two girls will move, in with the new girl in a new cage so they all have proper space) and Gimpie now lives where Bazz can't see him from the Den, and I know Gimps will rule the bottom section of that cage. Should have thought of that before!
Am cutting out the bottom...it's all gross lol.

Oh Bazz sounds just how Jake was with Squeekie. Before they came to me they were living in a hutch outside and Jake used to push Squeekie out into the cold. I've had both boys in my life for nearly two years , hasn't it gone quick Yes I bet the bottom of the box is gross lol

I know this is an ancient thread, but i stumbled across it by accident and ended up enjoying it. I needed a guinea pig-related smile right now.

I hope you got the piggy smile you needed. We have a few old threads that will put a smile on the saddest faces. I wish I could remember where they were.

It's a nice trip down memory lane too - when Alix wrote this she was a teenager. Now she's in her 20s, is married with two gorgeous boys and training to be a nurse. She was one of the first people I chatted to when I first started going online (back in the dial up days with slow and unreliable connections - very frustrating!) and I always enjoyed her piggy adventures! She's a very talented artist too and did so many wonderful drawings for me. I'll have to pull out some of the comic strips we did together when I had my website!

I'm glad the pictures stayed up all this time for me to see; my computer mouse has developed a flaw of clicking twice when I only want one click- I accidentally found this thread by a random click, and well, here we are!
