I think it really depends on the pet. If they are shy and scared easily of course the owners shouldn't bring them into a situation like that, but I've watched that show many times and in most cases the animals actually seem pretty oblivious to what's going on around them. Some of the dogs are having loads of fun and couldn't care less about the audience or studio lights.

[glow=lime,2,300]In no way was I targeting and picking on Vegan. I know how it is to be called a kid because I am one, im 16 years old. Im sorry you all think I was picking on her and im sorry Vegan if I made it seem that way. I was simply stating that in my opinion you cannot put all the blame on those girls because they are kids. They probably did have Guinea Pigs all their life. Their parents are as much at fault as the kids. They probably didnt know very much about piggies and let the kids get away with it telling them it is okay. But in the US we cant do those things at this age, so I personally consider myself a kid still. I also am proud to be a kid, Im not ready to grow up, im taking my time and enjoying being a kid. Some kids arnt as lucky to have people to teach them about animals or parents who actually care what they do to their pets. Be lucky you do!
I still think maybe that show promotes abuse but not the whole channel[/glow]

Thank you for stating what you have mentioned TimsCavyPrincess. I understand what you are saying and its good that you don't want to grow up too quickly. I know everyone has different veiws about different things and as long as we all show politeness and respect, then this message board will be a friendly and a happy place to visit.
