Great tank monkey, my turtle destroys plants, real and plastic so her tank is pretty bare

Heheh thanks My turtles destroy their plants too! But it's part of their diet! They love eating them! I have shrimp and fish for them to eat as well! I restock every couple of weeks!

I feed my turtle red leaf lettuce for her veggies, and have to limit and monitor her food, as she grows too quickly if she has free range now, and has become a master of catching fish lol.

Spoilt turtles! I once had a terrapin when I was a child. It was kept in a bowl on the table. When we came in from school it was in the corner of the hearth at the fire. Poor thing must have been cold and came out the bowl, jumped off the table and walked a distance for a terrapin to find heat. We didn't know any better and wouldn't have had money or a heated tank. Feel quite bad about that! X

Margaret, if I'd known before what I now know about all the animals I've had, I would have done so much differently!

My girl is a sweet heart, she doesn't bite, she likes to AIT with people and her tank isn't heated, her water maintains properly, so we don't bother too much with it. Its worked for 7 years I would assume it will keep working lol.
