We are starting a new thread to give a little extra boost to one pig or pig/slave combo each month. The recipient will be chosen from regular posts, and could be based on a cute picture, story, post of a particular success, or whatever seems to warrant a little extra note. This is not a memorial thread. No awards or anything, just a mention in Meet in the Pigs. No contest entries, just post as you always would. I will start with the July Pig of the Month at the end of July, so just watch this thread to see who appears and why.

I have just tried to send a photo love from my word file but it wouldn't paste. Do I have to download from Photobucket?

I don't think you can paste it into the message on here - it would have to be hosted somewhere on the internet first. You can email me it if it's easier for you (not that I mean to underestimate your amazing capacity for technology!) - treenspigs@yahoo.com.

It doesn't have to be a photo, Jo. It can be a story or even just a post that stands out for some reason. It's not a contest, just a chance to recognize members for their participation

I have just been on there huns only I didn't know how to copy the photos I chose. I know you used to highlight them and options came up at the box then you just clicked on one of those which have appeared and copy it to where ever you want. it seems they have changed this. Photobucket is playing up this afternoon but I will keep trying.

Jo, if your Photobucket pages are anything like mine, when you select a photo, it comes up on a page by itself. To the right is a box with selections for posting it, and beneath that is a box of media options. If you select Edit, then Resize, you should get a list of size options, or a place to enter 480x640. Try that.
When I first started my account, back in 2004-5, I remember there being a page to set defaults. It might be someplace in the profile stuff. I don't remember. I selected that size back then, so all my photos load to Photobucket at 480x648, or whatever it's supposed to be. Try checking your home page, with your settings choices, as see if there is a default settings selections there. Otherwise, you just need to resize each photo you want to post on Wheekers.
Once you get it resized, you select the IMG posting options, and that posts the photo and the site information, not just the site information. Let me know if that doesn't work. I will also try to remember to check my settings, and see where I set the photo size originally.

July is coming to an end, so time for the Pig of the Month selection. The July Pig of the Month is...... Henry! For those who have forgotten what a cutie he is, this is a picture from Faafaas thread: wheekers.proboards.com/thread/16731/faafaas-boys?page=5Faafaa moved her boys, Henry and George, across the US from Florida to California. A whole new environment for them to adjust to, and their humans busy with the move out, and move in, getting settled, and all that stuff! Next they got introduced to a new piggy boy who could have been their new cage mate, but he turned out not to get along with Henry and George. Finally back to the two of them, George ran away, leaving poor Henry to sort out everything for himself. Murphy may be the answer to Henry's missing his old pal George. With any luck, George will return, but until then, little Henry is piggying on bravely. So Faafaas Henry is the July Pig of the Month. Excellent coverage of the ups and downs of moving piggies, Faafaa. I know I've filed away a lot of information for my next move, and I'm sure others have, too. I do hope Murphy proves to be a good friend to Henry, but at least Henry has someone to talk to

Aw guys! Thanks! Henry really is a trooper. He has been thru so much. He and Murphy are off to a great start and I can only hope that it gets better from here. One of the reasons why my move with the boys went so smoothly was talking it out here. Everyone here helped me tweak the piggy moving plan to make it as stress free as possible. And planning, lots of planning!
