Our boys are Cookie & Marshmallow who are in my profile pic. Marshmallow was abandoned on a front lawn with a free sign on his cage and Cookie came from the SPCA. They officially belong to my daughter, but I am in charge of most of their care and feeding and the making of fun stuff for their cage. I hope to continue to learn a lot more about them. Thanks!

Welcome to Wheekers! They are adorable. Which one is Cookie and which one is Marshallow? That is so sad that someone would abandon Marshmallow like that. I got my boys from the SPCA as well.

Hello and a warm welcome to Wheekers!
So sad someone could leave Marshmallow like that - thank goodness you came along at the right time. Sounds like he and Cookie have a fabulous new home!

My Molly was left at the back door of a local pet store. She had a skin fungus and a lot of other health issues. She was so happy to find someone who wanted her, she loved me to pieces. I think the second life for abandoned pets is more important to them than the first. They really know love

Marshmallow aka chunky monkey is the short hair on the left and Cookie aka fuzzy butt is the one with the crazy hair on the right. Marshmallow had nails that were curled around and his fur was rough and wiry. I don't think he knew what hay was. He's improved a lot! Cookie came into the SPCA with his baby mommy and their litter. Poor Marshmallow didn't know what to do...lots of rumblestrutting and mounting when Cookie arrived. It was tough to let them work it out. They co-exist now.

Your nicknames made me burst out laughing. Hubby was questioning my sanity. That is so sad that he was so neglected and not not even know what hay was. That's fantastic that he has improved so much. I'm with you, watching all of the rumblestrutting, mounting, and other alpha behavior is hard to watch. It is so fantastic when they bond and don't want to be without the other now.
