A nice closeup of Stilgar! Zeke roaming around, probably wondering how he can get into that bag of hay!

Lovely. Zeke looks a bit self conscious there, like he's been caught out!
How's Stilgar doing? His eyes still have a bit of look of a guinea pig who's not quite 100%. I really hope he's doing okay.

Zeke does look as if he's been caught out, lol They are gorgeous guinea guys! I think Stilgar's looking pretty good, all things considered. Sometimes just being on meds can give them the not quite okay look. Is he eating and making good poos? I hope so

So far, he seems alright. My appointment with the vet got canceled today due to an emergency, and his rescheduled time is on the 6th of January. Still, I don't see much cause for alarm. The only thing I've been watching is that occasionally I'm looking for evidence of him pooping and not finding anything, but then later in the day I find evidence. Then I'll clean his cage and not find anything for hours, and then everything seems back to normal again. Perhaps it's all routine for him, but a while back I would jokingly complain to my guys that "I just cleaned your cage and you've pooped in it already, can't you enjoy a spotless living area for just a little while?" If there are any cancellations, I'm next in line in case he needs it, but I don't think there's any need to panic yet.

Glad Stilgar seems okay. I'm sure you'd be happy to see him pooping more regularly to show things were constantly ticking along. Maybe he'll need the meds for a little longer, you should have a good idea of that by the time his appointment comes around.

Here's Stilgar being as suspicious as ever! Here's Zeke showing his nose! And just for fun, I dug up a few pics that I never got around to showing... Here's Oscar again! (on a side note, I can't find those Snak Logs (or whatever they're called) anywhere anymore!) And here's good old Murphy being relaxed!

The Ecotrician Snak Shak log is available at Chewy.com. They have two sizes, neither of them very expensive. The boys are looking great, even with Stilgar's suspicious looks Oscar was a gorgeous guinea guy, wasn't he

I was cleaning up some folders & backing up electronic files when I realized I should make time to put up some old photos before way too much time passes. Count on a few more of these in the next few weeks.

I've lost a little momentum trying to post pictures, so here are a few you haven't seen before! These are a little old; Stilgar is enjoying a tomato and the vet recommended that it's hard for him to digest, so he hasn't had one in months! (not that he misses it, he prefers lettuce & carrots) And this one of Zeke was before he pulled a leg muscle- notice the leg of the gnome standing nearby!

Oh you can tell Stilgar is enjoying that tomato, but I'm glad he has other favourites if they're off the list.
Zeke is such a lovely colour, and nice to see him with his pal!

Zeke's friend the Gnome It's nice to have someone to look after you when you're away from home Tomatoes can be hard for pigs, or people, to digest. I'm glad Stilgar likes other veggies better

I thought these pics of Stilgar were highly amusing- he's occupied at first, then realizes he's being watched and returns the favor! And here's Zeke taking a bite out of his friend the Gnome!

Oh he loves his gnome!
The ones of Stilgar are funny, you can totally see the switch in the second one - he's got his eye on you!

The pictures are fabulous!!! The boys look wonderful, and Stilgar shows no signs of having a bad foot. You must be doing something to help with the Bumblefoot Wonderful photos

I've been doing the regular treatments twice a day with Stilgar with no sign of improvement, but he still moves around normally.

You probably already said, but what do you use for bedding? If it's anything rough, pointy, etc., like shavings, perhaps changing him to fleece would help. You can even get a clean, old tarp or towel, and use that over the shavings. I only suggest this because bumblefoot is usually connected to wire bottomed cages that injure the feet from having to stand on the wires. Changing to a soft bedding might help the bumblefoot heal more quickly, though I haven't heard of it doing that. I also date back to using colloidal silver to treat bumblefoot, so could be totally wrong
