Spaced out feeling has gone Bean love which I am rather sad about, it was nice, I just glided along and nothing was to much trouble LOL!! Yes i am getting some decent sleep thank you love. I went to a friend's house for coffee today and to cuddle all her bunnies and whilst I had a lovely time, it has really tired me out. Weather is dreadful here hun, me thinks winter has well and truly arrived.

No rain in the forecast, but it's been overcast most of the day, with breaks of sun. Still in the 50s, though I think it's going into the 60s tomorrow. At least we don't have any high 70s and higher temps forecast anymore.
I remember that foggy feeling, and the easy sleep when I started taking the pain killers after breaking my wrists. It definitely helped with the boredom of not being able to do anything.

I'd send it over to you if I could!
Glad you had a nice outing to your friend's, Jo. Even if you pay for it afterwards, it's still worth it sometimes to have a break from the usual routine.

I will admit Piggles love, I loved the feeling but it has well and truly gone. It is a good job I never experimented with drugs because I probably would have liked them LOL!!
It was a lovely afternoon Bean love but I am paying for it now. And they have stairs and guess where the loo is so it is really difficult for me. They also have some very high steps to get to their door, the place isn't Jo friendly I'm afraid LOL!

Oh no, the stairs would be a trial for you on a good day, so I can imagine they've wiped you out. We have a few people who visit us who were very happy when we had a downstairs loo put in!
We all got drenched on the school run this morning - what a miserable day! I'm stuck in today waiting for deliveries so at least that'll stop me having to go out in it again!

All of my other friends have a downstairs loo Bean hunni but it takes the pleasure out of my going there knowing I have to trample up a huge flight of stairs. I have to do it very slowly and am always afraid of falling too. Stay in and have a cosy day Bean love if the weather is horrendous.

Gar! Not good about the stairs, Jo, and sorry you got soaked, Bean. We might get some rain Friday, and the north country could get some tomorrow, but we haven't had much rain since the end of September. Early to say if October will be dryer or wetter than usual, but the 10-day forecast is pretty dry. We're not having a drought, though we have had a mini drought this summer, so we need some water to fill the reservoirs and aquifers. Really not wanting a repeat of last winters snow, as most of that ran off into rivers and the ocean, and didn't do much to provide drinking water.

It is becoming very much like winter here which s not surprising and we have had a fair bit of rain. I would love a little snow for Christmas but I hope for that every year in vain LOL! I remember one year it was in the early 1990s, we had a constant heavy frost which looked lovely and it lasted quite a while but managed to disappear by Christmas day, I was not happy LOL!!

Pop a lot of popcorn, and spread it about in drifts For all the snow we can get, we can also have totally snowless winters. February and March are usually our most stormy months, though we did get the Snowtober Nor'easter back in 2010 I think it was. Talk about losing all the beautiful leaves in one October storm Then it didn't snow again for quite a while, as I recall. I do like a white Christmas and a colorful Halloween Cavylady, didn't you get some rain recently? I'm trying to remember the weather map, but I thought there was quite a large cell of rain out your way. It's raining here, now. My friends in Chicago and Ohio like to send me their rain, when they're done with it, lol. We started out for our walk during one of the breaks, but only made it about 1/4 of the way before it started to pour again. We were wearing our Tilley hats, so no problem. The rest of our clothes got soaked, but it was fun We're shipping this rain on to the Canadian Maritimes, in case they need anything watered

YEs when I when I woke up it was raining and continued to sprinkle the rest of the day, I'd be happy if it was here to stay.

We could use more, but there's none in the forecast. I'm hoping Mother Nature doesn't make up for her rain shortfalls by dumping another 6 feet of snow on us this winter

Every year I pray for a white christmas but I don't think we have had one in years. When I was young however we always had snow just before christmas and during if my memory serves me well. I went to a church school too and it was really celebrated and it was on the only time I enjoyed school. The christmas atmosphere was amazing. I miss it.

I wish that in addition to the 'like' button we could have a 'smack bottom' button - Jo would get lots of those notifications! I've noticed you always like to say Christmas twice in each post too, just to make sure I don't miss it I expect?!
I'm glad you have fond memories of school at that particular time of year though, Jo - that's nice to hear as I know you didn't really enjoy school. (I'm still not letting you off though.)

Come on Beany love, you can let ickle JoJo off this once? Will try to remember we are only in October sweetie. Yes I am lucky with that, I do have some lovely memories of that time of year in school. Silly as it sounds, the three times we spend the hols in Florida with family, twice it was colder there than it was here. Each time we took daughter to Disney World. Each time it was decently warm in the morning, but by sunset, it got cold. Each time we had to buy sweatshirts, lol. The first visit was during a nor'easter up here, so we had to get someone to shovel the driveway and walk for us, so we could get the car in. Daughter was only a baby. I was holding her, got out of the car and fell flat on my back in the snow. She was fine So landing, lol
