Your two sounds the same as my two love. Lacy is friendly and will be stroked whereas Darcy who strangely enough is also a fatty, always runs away.

Your boys sound wonderful, Irina13 Every pig is different, and I love seeing their personalities. Yes, cavylady, they come when I call them, or at least do their version of acknowledging that I'm calling them. It could be bouncing the pigloo around, bouncing the hay they've buried themselves in around, sticking a nose up through the hay, and a lot of other responses, but they do respond

How did you teach them?

I just talk to them a lot, call them by their names separately, so they knew who's who, and they learn very quickly. Like any child or animal, they may sometimes opt not to acknowledge that we're calling them, but it's rare. I also have treats for them when I call them most of the time, so they have reason to pay attention.

I chat to mine too and by the looks on their faces, I am sometimes pleased that they cannot talk back. They are probably thinking "Silly old cow LOL!!

I picked goofball and explorer for Mojo as he likes to climb on things and zoom around. Lazy and old soul for Max as he is happy to just to sit there and not move unless he has to.

Ha ha, yes there is always a lazy one. Hugs Jo xx Funny that I just wrote about Max being the lazy one as later in the day he popcorned! It was the first time I'd seen either of the babies do it. He made this little noise and then his furry bottom went flying up in the air, so cute! So maybe he is not so lasy after all but would just rather be cuddled if the option is there.

Ha ha, he obviously knew he was thought of as lazy and decided to dispel the myth LOL! I so love it when they popcorn.
