Okay I know that this is a guinea pig forum but I got a fish mystery and I need to know if anyone knows anything or can help! Alright I have 2 glass catfish 1 albino catfish There are eggs on the side of my tank did research and found that glass catfish eggs hatch within 12 hours I have 2 of these fish so you'd assume that it was them but I know I only have one but it takes 12 weeks for albino catfish eggs to hatch I've had these eggs for 2 weeks so someone please explain. Also does anyone know what the heck to feed them once they arrive? Thanks,Cavylady

I have no idea either, sorry!
If the eggs haven't been fertilised, that could be one explanation for the eggs having been round for longer than expected without hatching? Females can still lay eggs without a male to fertilise them. I think fish would usually eat unfertilised eggs, but if they have plenty of other food then they might get left?
There's got to be a specialist catfish forum - or hundreds!
