We had a litter of piglets born 6 days ago. She had 14 piglets and all piglets seemed good size and healthy. Sometime that first day, I saw the sow step on one of the piglets leg for a few seconds, piglet seemed fine and I I had seen it before, so didn't think much of it. On day 3, I noticed that one of the piglets seem to have difficulty with one of it's back legs and was slightly limping but was still moving around. The next day she was having more difficulty and mainly stayed in the nest area but was able to get to momma to nurse. Yesterday, it seemed that both legs were having difficulty bearing weight and she kind of scooted. This morning, I found her out of the nest and cold, I now believe that she probably was there most of the night. She responded with a few grunts and let me pick her up and carry her with any squealing. I brought her in and began feeding her some cows milk that I had. We have continued to feed her every 2 hours or so through the day. This evening we put her down on the ground and she was not able to bear weight on any of her legs(one of the front ones doesn't seem to be effected). One of her front legs doesn't seem to stretch all the way out but stays in a bent position almost. When we were holding her, I did see her stretch it out once. We have been raising pigs for about 4 years and I have never seen anything like this. Any ideas on what this is and anything we could do to help her.
