Hi,
I am new to this forum but have kept a small flock of hens for about 4 years now with little trouble. I have just recently obtained a chicken that was wandering around a local sea wall. No owners came forward and the perosn that took it in had no other chickens and was unable to look after it. I agreed to take it on. I have attached a picture as I am uncertain what breed it is Any ideas? Also, would you be able to advise if it is male or female. It has a home with me reagrdless, just curious to know.
(This is not my set up in the picture, but where the chicken was kept the day I picked it up).
Cheers, Scott

Sorry, can't help but I've just edited your post as the link to the picture of the chicken didn't work (I think you have to be a member of the forum the picture's on to see it) and the other one wasn't relevant. If you can find an image on google then that one should show up for everyone, although I'm not sure we have any chicken experts on here.
Also, if you could refrain from posting links to websites for mobile ringtones etc in your signature that would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

Sorry, I know absolutely nothing about chickens. There should be an agricultural website with information, and possibly forums that specialize in farm fowl. This is a guinea pig forum, so unless a member has chickens and knows these things, we're kind of limited to guinea pig information.
