Hello all, haven't posted in a while. My girls, Jessica and Katrina are doing well, have grown stupendously and are just so sweet, love to cuddle. Anyhow, my sister, a little while before I got my pigs, she got a pig (black and brown Abby) for her daughter. I don't know who loves that pig more! They were waiting on another baby from same breeder, but that never happened. About a week ago, they were at a pet store and just fell in love w/a new arrival, another little Abby that is red merle and rust...best description. The intro's were a little rocky, lots of text and calls to me, but in the end, it went well. The new pig is supposed to be for my other neice, but really, I think they are both my sisters! She is in love and has stated that from here on out, she will never be pigless. When the older girl goes to college in a few years, I think her room will become a pig haven! How can you not love pigs?

How can you not love pigs? I wholeheartedly agree! Not quite two years ago my daughter bought a hamster, and found out that it's not a pet for holding and cuddling. She and her mother returned it, and came back with Oscar. It didn't take long for me to grow accustomed to his friendly face, and now we have a rule of two for our house- always have at least two guinea pigs!

Lovely to see you bobbieszoo! Sounds like the piggy love is spreading fast and I love the idea of a pig room!

I think it's wonderful that she loves piggies, so she will be their main caregiver. Kids tend to move on to other interestests, and the pets get forgotten. Not going to happen there
