I love piggies, the ones I see on T.v that just there. I'm scared of them lol. Especially when you put your hand In the cage and they run really fast.

Merry - any idea how to get rid of them? We've never had them before, however I think the people who lived here before us must have, as there was ant spray in the cupboard (which is useless!!). My housemate and I went out to get some ant powder this afternoon and have put it along the door, hopefully that'll do the trick. I'm not sure what's in the powder, but it makes them run away from it, lol.

Well we had an exterminator come and he gave us this bottle of gooey stuff that you drip down the walls where they come in. They eat it and take it to the queen I guess and that keeps them under control for awhile. The down side is that having an exterminator come is very expensive, and I don't know where you can just buy the poison.

Don't worry my flea's are pedigree ones! ;D
I get ants every summer, well pcfew used to have them every summer but I took over the house and had them last summer but I sussed them out. Just normal white ant powder which only cost £1 or £2 smother the nest ,where you see the most ants coming from. The ants take the powder back to the main nest to feed with all other ants and It soon kills the nest in a day maybe two. They still came back so what I found stopped them altogether was putting the powder all around the outside walls of the house and inside where you see them coming from. This kept them away. I done It again a week or so later or if it rained and washed the powder away, I done It as soon as It was all dry. Even though you may not see them outside, trust me It does prevent the ones inside from growing or surving.
Hope It works for you, I know they are a pain in the backside.

Sounds like we've done the right thing. I hate the little creatures, they make me feel all itchy. Been walking around with my jeans rolled up to my knees so I can see if they're crawling up my legs. Ick!!
