Definitely persevere. He'll learn that his attitude isn't going to stop you, and he'll settled down Thinking about Fluffy and the video of the spider in that bath, does anyone remember the episode of Danger Mouse, when Penfold came running out of the bath yelling, "There's a spider in the bath. There's a spider in the bath!" That was one of our favorite episodes, because daughter has a real thing about spiders, and she totally related to Penfold Of course, being a Danger Mouse episode, the spider was the size of a subcompact car, but that's a whole 'nother story

Thank you and I do hope you are right Piggles love as he is making me very unhappy. He was just a ball of real fury last night, he even huffed at Paul. I am trying very hard to be light hearted when I take him out but it isn't easy. No love I didn't watch Danger Mouse but I have heard it is really good.

Danger Mouse is silly fun If he's huffing at Paul, too, then he doesn't want to be held. You have to consider their feelings. Sometimes they're happy to be held and have a good snuggle. Sometimes they want to be left alone. If he was huffy, he wanted to be left alone. We all have those days

You are so right Piggles love but the lady who gave me Timmy says that the more he objects the more I should handle him, apparently he has to know who is boss and I am afraid that at the moment it isn't me. She says he is vocal and will try it on but once he knows he is not going to get anywhere and the stroking persists, he will stop. I am not convinced. He is huffy with Paul but worse with me and it is making me really miserable as I don't think it is going to change but Paul wants to persevere with him so at the moment we will do. I also have to consider his happiness, if he is huffing all the time and biting then he is not content and should go back to with whom he was happy. Horrid situation. Thank you so much for your kind help love.

I had to chuckle at the "he has to know who's boss, and at the moment, it's not me." I know what you mean. If you can't be the boss, you will never get him to respect you and accept you, and that won't make life good for either of you. I agree with Paul that it's way too early to give up on him, but don't keep him so long that he can't start over with someone else. Good luck!

I didn't discover Danger Mouse until I was in my early teens, but I loved it all the same. The humor was not lost on me, and Count Duckula was my favorite villain. (He doesn't want to rule/destroy the world; all he wants is his very own TV/variety show, but he can't because he's so bad at it.) I have the first season on DVD, but I haven't had time to collect the others. Probably a bit late now, my daughter's outgrown that sort of thing.

We used to get Count Duckula and Banana Man with Danger Mouse We discovered it in our 30s, and loved it. I'm glad there's a version available for the latest generation, and hope it's as good as the one we watched

I did miss all of Dangermouse I am afraid but will look out for it now as it sounds a really good laugh. I remember Cunt Duckula and nanny with her wing permanently in a sling and her really funny remarks.

I don't remember ladyflower. I couldn't get anything when I googled it, either. Maybe one of these days Count Duckula will air again, and I can get a refresher course Any luck with Pets At Home, Jo?
