Excellent news!!! Congratulations, Snuggie I really hope all four make it, but if not, it sounds as if at least 2 are doing really well. Super! I can't wait to see pictures! Sorry, as soon as I posted this, the picture of Snuggie and her babies appeared on my screen. Not sure why it does that. They are adorable Congratulations

All babies are up walking around and moving. 3 have been popcorning and playing following Snuggie out from behind her fleece forest! My runt baby has been doing well getting much better on their feet. I'm so happy for her and it was such a long wait I thought she would never give birth 😁

Ooooh! You caught me off guard, the one time I wasn't reading this thread holding my breath for news and here they are! They are adorable and I'm so pleased to hear everyone is doing well. Brilliant news, you must be so relieved, and with Mr C recovering well too, I hope you're in for some relaxed happy times with your piggers. Look at those little faces (I'm sure you are - a lot!)!

They are all already eating vegetables and fruits and hay I believe they have been eating pellets and some have also investigated the water bottles 😊

Aww gorgeous! Well done to Snuggie - how on earth did she manage with all those inside her?! It's amazing how quickly the babies eat and drink independently isn't it? Are they making any noises yet?
Oh and pleeeeease could I have one or two of them?!
Jo, when are your new piggers due to arrive with you?

It amazes me still how they all came out of her she is a small piggie to begin with and also a young mommy too I believe when she got pregnant she was almost 2 months old so I was a nervous wreck for her but she has been doing excellent. And it's so weird to think she wasn't very big either now that I remember her belly wasn't very big for those 4 little ones 😊
You may have 1 or 2 how ever many you want 😁 we will have to figure out how to get them to you! They are extremely hyper active all 4 and oh yes they have been talking up a storm since they have been born. When they start talking Chocolate hears them and goes running across the cage to them. He doesn't leave their side unless he wants his hay. He is a wonderful pappy.
Yes Jo I would love to see pigtures when the arrive to you 😊

Thank you I used this kind of fleece to support my oldest daughter who has autism 😁 and I'm so happy everyone is doing great I think I may have to give my runty a little alone time with Snuggie to feed some with her but it seems that he/she is doing well for themselves learning to fight their siblings to get mommy

Aww Mr C sounds so sweet responding to their calls!
I wouldn't worry about looking at the bottoms for a week or so - it's harder to tell when they're first born, especially if their bits are a little swollen. After that it gets easier and if you post pictures, we can give our opinion, or advise you to go to the vet for sexing if it's not clear!
There was a runt in the litter Charlie had too - she was smaller and more wobbly, but did just fine. Hopefully your little runty chap/ chapess will do just fine too, but it's good you are looking out for her, and will give her a bit of time alone with mum if you think she's being squeezed out. The fact they can eat solid food almost immediately definitely helps take some of the worry away with guinea pigs, but having some milk from mum will do her so much good.
I was curious as to how the fabric you used in the cage would help your daughter, but had a quick google and see it was designed as a fundraiser! It's a great fabric and certainly a brilliant cause, so I hope it's raised lots of money.
10th of April?! Exciting, Jo!
Feel free to post more pictures anytime you like piggiemommy - we won't be able to get enough of these little guys!

When we had a lot of piggies Piggmommy love, they obviously varied in strengths and weaknesses. However the one we thought would die young because of her size and weakness outlived all the others. Sometimes they really surprise you.
Yes it is exciting Bean hunni.

Ooh, 10th of April! Excellent, Jo I totally agree with Bean about waiting to try to sex them. The boys need to be separated from the girls at 3 weeks old, but for now, just let them grow and be babies I also totally agree with you posting lots of pictures Do you have a cage for the boys, if they don't go in with Mr. C?

Hi everyone! Well my runt baby isn't doing well at all. I've tried feeding critical care giving water with a syringe but last night the babies eyes started crusting over and closing I've taken a warm q tip and reopened the eye and now this morning the other eye was shut. Snuggie has tried to feed her even nudged her when I gave time alone and my baby just wouldn't budge. I thought we was in the clear. This is very hard for me. I have my baby wrapped up in some fleece sitting on me as the baby is cold. I will get updated photos of everyone soon as the other ones are big and running around
