Aww its not good news that the Vet didn't take that good advice.. Keep a close eye on her.. I could be dead wrong, but the antibiotics may just be holding back the inflamation and stuff caused by whatever it is.. and might not solve the core problem. Though I'm rough on medical junk lol.. I know you'll make the right decisions for her.. Good Luck.

Clover does seem much happier in herself aL, she did for a few days last week, its abit of a rollercoaster. Thankfully there's no bleeding. I think shes actually enjoying her a new slimmer look as shes been charging around extra fast. I'll take a pic of her as she is now, I have a few that was taken early last week. Shes only lost 2 ounces, but I think some of the fluid has also gone.
I'm still going to have a word with Gina if Clover starts crying again.

I hope Clover keeps moving in the right direction - it does sound as if things are steadily improving and if it is a UTI you can't expect it to disappear in a few days can you.
It is a shame vets don't pay more attention to the advice of non-vets, but I guess there are so many different types of animals and specialist services for each, that they're bound to be dubious. Hopefully in time things will get better, and it's great that you have the advice and guidance of Gina to support you and Clover through this.
Cuddles and romaine to Clover from me please!

I just thought I'd give an update on Clover. I'm glad to say she is doing really well, no more crying, she's eating well and even enjoying her new slimline look by charging around even faster. What a relief, it was two very long weeks for poor Clover.Fingers crossed it was a bad case of UTI and not a uterine infection.

Thanks Treen, I'm still trying to get used to Clover's new slimline look. They only have to loose abit don't they to make a difference, but maybe some of the loss is fluid to.

It could be a urinary tract infection in which case she'll need a course of antibiotics. If she's still bleeding, I'd really suggest you take her back very soon, as the protexin bio lapis is a probiotic for their tums and wouldn't stop any bleeding.
