I thought I'd make her a new thread for her photos, now that she's here ;D Blossom came out for a while last night, she was a bit nervous but unballed after about half a minute and started exploring me lol. I took these pics when I put her back in her cage. They're not too clear because it was late so there wasn't any natural light. Back to bed! Aww lol

Thanks ;D lol, she re-arranged her cage a bit last night, the hedgie bag and plastic igloo were at opposite ends but I think she decided she wanted to put them both near the heatpad

She's gorgeous! Is she living inside with you or in the shed with the piggies? (Not sure how cold it is there.) She looks so nice and round lol.

Awww. Sounds like she's really tame. I've never met a live hedgie before... what are their personalities like? Do they act anything like piggies?

Very sweet looking and so tiny. I saw some that a person had one time but I don't really know what they are like.

She's lovely - nothing like the piggies though. She usually puts her quills up and huffs a bit when I pick her up but calms down after a few seconds, and she's really into exploring everything. She also loves pushing her cat balls around, then have bells in them and she has great fun making loads of noise with them in the middle of the night I gave her a toilet paper tube yesterday, and she pushed both of the balls into it lol. She also seems to be litter trained, which is nice! Her main diet is cat biscuits (Iams at the moment, but I've read that they're not the best so I might change her onto something else in a few weeks) and apparently she loves chicken and bits of boiled egg - I haven't given her any yet but I'm going to boil an egg for her later She ate half a grape yesterday as well lol. They also love mealworms as a treat occasionally, and little pieces of fruit.

It sounds like she's really settling in Izzy ;D Fancy her rolling her balls into the paper tubes lol Does she use her igloo? When Hammy gets his new cage he'll be having one.

lol, thanks Teebs. Stormy - from what I've read, I think they usually live between 3 and 5 years, but some live up to 8 or maybe older. She loved the boiled egg ;D She doesn't use the igloo much, but I think it's just because she has a choice between that and her hedgie bag (same as a cavy cozy lol) and she prefers the bag Some pics from last night She watched a bit of Lost with me before going back to sleep on her heatpad This is very blurry, but I thought it was cute anyway lol.

Very cute! One reason she might prefer the cozie is that it's probably warmer than the igloo.

Aww she is SO cute Izzy Your so lucky, hehe. Does she go to the tolet as much as guinea pigs? Is she litter trained? I was wondering this because her cage looks extremly clean Is she bigger then your guinea pigs?
