Fantastic picture, especially with the mountains in the background.
If I were to narrate my life in pictures at the moment, they'd be of endless Scrabble boards!

Fantastic picture, especially with the mountains in the background. If I were to narrate my life in pictures at the moment, they'd be of endless Scrabble boards! That reminds me- a thread like this one I've seen on other boards, but they're sometimes titled, "Post Yourself Right Now"... and since I'm not in the habit of posting pics directly from my phone, I commented on a board that if I were to do that properly, every single picture of me would be just sitting in front of the computer! A subsequent thread was changed to say, "Post Yourself Whenever".

Beautiful, and I envy you the guts to go out where the big snakes might be! She's really growing up. When she gets married, I hope you make a photo album of all these places she's been, and things she's done My life in pictures would probably be in the kitchen, cooking

When she gets married, I hope you make a photo album of all these places she's been, and things she's done My life in pictures would probably be in the kitchen, cooking Saw a bunch of assorted wildlife, but no snakes. A lizard or two, numerous deer (or similar animals) a few goats, a beetle and a wild rabbit! Oh, and plenty of ravens. My dad saw a condor when he visited a few years ago, but I was not so fortunate.

Mine would be caring for all the babies lol! I would love to go where there are lots of snakes and thingies. My dream would be to go to Borneo on a bug hunt, if I were younger, fitter and much better off lol!

I've reached a point in life where I need to be able to see the scenery without having to do much walking. I would have love to travel to some very scenic places.

I keep driving through Colorado, but have yet to make that state its own vacation trip. Until then, here's a little taste of what I see when I drive through:

Oh you've put your shirt back on for this picture, have you?! No beefcake pics from me here, this is a family board! Canadian Cavy, thanks for contributing! (I think everybody's slightly sick of seeing me all over this thread, time for some new faces.)

Robin does some great photography, so we'll press her into keeping up with Baz on the photo front Aw come on, Baz, we love you I've heard Colorado is quite something to see. My sister and BiL lived in Colorado Springs, and she worked in Boulder. She said compared to New England, where the trees and mountains come right up to the roads, Colorado was incredibly open and vast. They had a 4-wheel drive they used to go visit ghost towns out in the middle of nowhere, so I judge there is a lot of nowhere to be in the middle of, there. The only place I've seen many pictures of is Red Rocks. My sister wasn't into taking pictures.

The only place I've seen many pictures of is Red Rocks. My sister wasn't into taking pictures. The eastern portion is a bit dull, as it resembles Nebraska. However, as you get close to Denver the mountains spring up and there are lots of breathtaking views; you can even find miniature waterfalls as you drive through the mountains. Again, for all the driving through I've done I believe there's much more I have to see. (I've saved my itinerary from my twice-cancelled Colorado trip, so it's gonna happen eventually. When it does, I'll have a treasureload of pics to share. Maybe 2018 in the fall, possibly.)

Onan's Gold Pyramid House in Wadsworth, Illinois! This is a 6-story pyramid that the owners live in; it's simply a tourist attraction for people that dig Egyptian culture. (See what I did there?)

Oh I see it, Baz haha!
Now that is certainly an original and bizarre looking house. Too bad you saw this after most of the work had been done on your house, or you could have used some of the ideas!

Very good Baz hunni lol! I love quirky houses but I am not sure I would want to live in a pyramid. A converted windmill has always appealed to me. I just loved the houses in Lord of the Rings where everything was round.
