I have a great picture of a rainbow in a complete arch over our neighborhood(no, we aren't heavenly, in the least! : , that I will have to find! That is, if Val and Beckee don't mind sharing their thread. hehe. Of course we don't mind Alyssa. I would love to see your Rainbow picture. Think it can beat mine? I also have hot air balloons here by me too Alyssa. Have a look at my old thread about them. wheekers.proboards32.com/index.cgi?board=chat&action=display&thread=1189990845Speaking of old...Treen really likes hot air balloons too!

I'm just getting warmed up- I have some spectacular skies I must share! This is an Indiana, USA sunset (taken on actual 35mm film back in 1987!) That city skyline all the way on the horizon is the city of Chicago!

Wow and cool!! I have been to both Indiana and Chicago, but by highway. I'd love to fly over the area sometime, and get to enjoy it without dealing with traffic and directions

Oooh lovely pictures, thanks for posting them! Have you got any stormy ones? None that I recall, but I'll have to sort through my collection. I do have some that are of interesting cloud formations, even if a storm wasn't brewing...

Oooh I like it - proper cotton cool balls across a lovely blue sky! I don't suppose you know what kind of cloud they are? Then this could be an education as well as arty appreciation!

Thanks, everyone! That pic is from a beautiful little place in Minnesota, USA, called Split Rock Lighthouse. Here's a few more pics of the area: That bright spot in the sky is the moon. These were taken as the sun was going down. Lake Superior is a tranquil place to visit, really.
