We do, Jo, and it never ends. Those same idiots have to have seen the other accidents, but I guess it's never going to happen to them!
Morty had a runny eye this morning, so I'm keeping an eye on him. I will try to give him a butt dunk, and finally clean up his behind. Now that Mia is feeling better, she cleaned herself, and no longer needs a butt dunk. I clean off the crusties around his eye, and so far no more have formed, so I think he got something in it, and it was running.
Momo is going through one of her scaredy pig periods. She does this periodically, when she runs and hides at the slightest movement. Don't know what gets into her?

When people behave like that on the roads, they are endangering other people and that makes me really cross.

I caught Morty popcorning yesterday. I call them Mortycorns, as he's so big, it's more of a hopping dance step than a real popcorn. Momo seems to be over her scaredy pig episode, as she would pursuing me around the cage while I was cleaning it, yesterday. Mia is still acting like an old version of herself, so I am keeping an eye on her. She is eating, drinking and demanding snacks like the old version, so I think it may have more to do with the lack of sunlight due to all the snowy days.

Morty got a soak in the sink and a major cleaning of his undercarriage. It was all clumped poo and pee. I could see what was visible, and tried to wipe it off with wipes. That didn't work, and I felt a lot more underneath, and put him in the sink to soak it all loose. The water was filthy, so he had been storing up the crud for a while. I knew he needed a bath, but it had been too cold and drafty in the piggy room to risk having him wet. Once I sealed the windows and door from all the drafts, I could unfleece the cage, and give him a bath. I didn't do the whole piggy, just the soakable parts, and snuggled in him dry towels before letting him go back in the cage. He also has crusty eyes, but no raspy breathing or crusty nose. I think the hay is causing problems, and will ask hubby to help me get enough out of the box, and shaken off, to reduce the amount of hay dust for a while. He wasn't happy with me, but after enough treats, he forgave me

Poor Morty sounds like he's a bit under the weather with his mucky bum and crusty eyes. Hope you can get to the bottom of it soon and get him back to being bright eyed and bushy tailed - glad he forgave you for his bath too!
Glad Momo got over her skittish episode. It'd be great if we understood what set them off, but I suppose it's an instinct which has served them very well as a species, so having some random part left of it left over in them isn't surprising!
Glad Mia's eye is still looking good too.

Mortys eyes and bum have stayed clear since the soak. I think this batch of hay has a lot a little particles in it, and it's getting into their eyes. They do burrow in the hay, so no stopping that. I would flush their eyes more often, but it isn't really warm enough in the house to have wet pigs, right now. Momo hasn't had any problems at all, with the same hay.
I think Morty did a lot of peeing in the pigloo, where it bounces back on him from the sides. I am watching him closely, and if it ever stops snowing and being too bitterly cold to take the pigs outside, I will take Morty and Mia to the vet for a general check over. They are eating and drinking fine. Poos are find. Just spending a lot of time snuggled into warm spots, and getting it all over themselves. It has not been a 2015 to take pigs outside, at all. Right now we have windchill factors of -5F, and it's dropping over this afternoon and through tomorrow to -17F. I won't risk having my car break down and having to carry them for any distance, in this weather. Way too cold for piggies.

Thanks, Jo. Temps are up to 0 degrees, and even with all the weather stripping around the doors and windows, the cold is creating convection currents. I can keep the air decently warm, but don't want the piggies wet in the drafts. I'm wearing my thermal undies, and kept the kitchen areas of their condos fleeces against the drafts. This will move out when the next round of snow arrives. I think we're in a bit of a rut
