Thanks so much everyone and Squeekie says thank you too. My vet Molly couldn't find anything particular that would be troubling Squeekie but his teeth might have a question mark over them. Squeekie did have a molar spur a few years ago which was treated. Because his appetite is down, Molly has given me some Maxolon to keep his tum going plus Metacam. He has been nibbling his hay which is good but hasn't showed alot of interest in his pellets. I'm now supplementing his diet with Critical Care and I'm to monitor his weight everyday. The good news is Squeekies heart seems ok and he is pooping and passing urine. If Squeekie looses weight or he isn't eager to eat his pellets or any hard veg like carrot, then he'll have to have an x-ray. I gave Molly one of Karens restraint bags kdaf.co.uk/GP-RestraintBags.aspx and she was really pleased with it and of course she will use it for Squeekie if needed. I'm sure he won't mind it being a lovely shade of pink. As I've mentioned Molly many times, here is a photo of Molly with Squeekie, taken this afternoon and a couple of pics of Squeekie at home, ready to have some CC. Hes now back with his Beatrix and after helping himself to a drink, hes having a nap.

I'm so pleased that Molly did not find anything wrong with Squeekie. That's good, right?...or are you still rather worried? I hope that Squeekie is just being in a strange mood and that has caused his routine to change. I will keep my fingers crossed and hope he will not need an xray. Squeekie looks ever so charming and just as hamsome as ever although I'm sure he is tuckered out from the trip to the vets. It's nice to finally meet Molly too! She even looks like a warm caring person! I bet she is a terrific vet! My best friend Patty just adopted a new dog for her kids, Andy and Victoria and they named her MOLLY! Molly Polly to be exact.

Hmmm, they should make those restraint bags that their nails just stick out, so you can clip nails easier. lol I never saw them before, but they are a great idea for xrays.

Oh, that's so good to here. At least you know it's not a systemic problem that could become much worse. Yippee!!!! Just don't let Arnold Schwartzenegger know about him being in a pink bag, or he'll call Squeekie a Girliepig!!!

I am glad that Squeekie has a strong heart and he is pooping and urinating okay. I am sure the medication will help him get back on track and with the CC and your care Clover, he will be back to his old self in no time at all. Get well soon Squeekie Boy. x

Thanks so much everyone. Squeekie is doing much better. He's now tucking into his pellets but not so much his carrot so will keep a very close eye on his eating habits. He's a good weight and is staying stable. I'm still giving him a little CC but hes mainly eating on his own. Squeekies energy levels have gone back to normal, he dose sleep alot being a senior guinea pig but Thursaday morning he was resting after only 30 seconds of being out with Beatrix. He was also facing a corner which is another sign, but thankfully he isn't doing that now. Just don't let Arnold Schwartzenegger know about him being in a pink bag, or he'll call Squeekie a Girliepig!!! Lol Some people call Squeekie a girl, its his pretty face bless him lol

Ah, another medsaholic. Zippy love meds through the syringe. HE likes anything through the syringe, lol. Getting him to take meds is not a problem.
I'm so glad Squeekie is back to normal. It's always such a relief!!!
