That's such a cool idea, I might borrow it if that's ok. My daughter start's pre-school in September and they have a vet themed topic.

No but it went to Beckee's! She's been walking round with an 'All about me' poster around her neck, telling strangers they can stroke her and feed her Doritos (but watch out for those teeth!).

lol Treen! But you told me it would look cool when I asked you what you thought?
The pigs are all well thank you Donna. I've been mowing my scrap of lawn with piggy power this week so they have been happy with extra grass treats!

Well we've been busy here at the Spanglish Sow household! I had a call from a friend about a month ago saying her sister wanted a favour. She had 2 male guinea pigs aged about 2 years and one had died, leaving his brother (Tommy) alone and sad. The owner didn't want to get another baby pig as her children were loosing interest but didn't want to have the guinea who was left living alone for the rest of his days so asked if I could take him. I said yes and figured he could live either alongside the girls or be neutered and go in with one pair of girls. Anyway, whilst the arrangements to bring him over were being made, a friend of mine, also with a pair of boars, woke up to find one of hers had died overnight. Two very sad stories that could turn into one happy ending....? So! Tommy and Dom both came to live with me seperately. I kept them quarentined from each other and my sows for a while which also gave me a chance to spend a bit of time with Tommy who was very nervous from living at the bottom of a garden with young kids poking him occasionally! I've been really lucky and the two boys have got on almost perfectly from day 1! Tommy did some mounting and rumbling but Dom couldn't have cared less and by not fighting the dominance, everything settled down very quickly. I only had to give them a couple of sessions in neutral ground before I put them into their new hutch for a whole day and we haven't looked back since! Both the boys have always lived outside so could have stayed with me in a hutch out next to the bunnies but my friend who had Dom has decided she would like to take them both back so sometime at the end of this week they should be moving into their forever home! Anyway, here are a couple of pictures of the strapping boys! Tommy Dom Meanwhile.. the sows are all doing well. The have moved back up into my living room to make way for a puppy cage in the kitchen so are missing the squeak of the fridge door but enjoying extra cuddles in the evenings!

OMG!... they are absolutely adorable! Well done Beckee for giving them both a second chance.
Also is it me or how much does Dom look like Rocky in that first photo inside the pigloo? He must be a cousin of our dear friend Rocky for sure.

I did a double take on Dom's first pigture, too, lol. They are such cuties, and I'm really glad they have a great forever home where they can be together without little kids poking at them constantly. You did a wonderful job as matchmaker.
Glad to hear the Spanglish Sows are doing great. I'm sure they're willing to strain to hear the fridge door if it means extra snuggles.

Pics of the boys at last - yeah!
I'm sorry to hear that they aren't staying with you after all but you'll have your hands full of puppy fun soon. I have to admit they are both gorgeous but Tommy in particular. I hope they settle in well at your friends house and lovely to know they are both happy together now.
