I went back to Ikea the other night quite late I'm afraid. I had to buy more curtains to complete my family room so I was limited on time. I quickly ran through the children's section to see if I could locate those hidey's for you and to get some type of stock code. I did not see them this time so I'm thinking that I saw them in a different department. I do know that I saw them though! lol I have to go back to the Valley today so IF I have time I will run into Ikea again....and not just before they are closing, so I can have a good look around!! Good job Little Girl! The hidey is all yours! Mum should write your name in gold glitter on it!

Zippy was pouting tonight. I picked up LG first, instead of him, so he went to the back of the cage and sat there with his back to me, pouting. I know a Zippy pout when I see one, lol, and this was definitely a Zippy pout. I gave LG a piece of lettuce, and brushed all the little hay pieces out of her hair. Once I checked her for any lumps, I put her back in the cage and picked up Zippy. He told me whatfor, and all about not picking him up first, as he was supposed to be picked up first, and on and on. I told him I would have picked him up first, but he ran away when I went to pet him, so I thought he didn't want to be picked up. SORRY, I didn't realize I was supposed to work to pick you up, lol.Zippy is my talking piggy, and he talks constantly. So I talk to him, too. I finally got Momma out for a brushing, lettuce and love, before putting them all on the floor so I could clean the cage WITHOUT ANY HELP!!! lol

Aww- poor Zippy! He just doesn't understand that he is not your one & only baby. Zippy, Emmett & Mr. Chewy I bet would all be the best of friends-they all love to talk, talk, talk. It sounds like you spent the day like we did. I had to do the "BIG" cage clean outs yesterday, so fortunately hubs helped me. He carried and put in the 40 pound bags in each cage. Poor hubs- 400 pounds of Equine Fresh. He only has to do it every couple of months though so not too bad. We started at around noon and finally finished around 11:30 pm. Hey I was wondering- how in the world do you clean the tubes that connect each level of your cages? Oh and I need to see more pigtures please... ;D Lee Anne & all the boys xxx ooo

More pigtures coming soon, lol. Thanks for the request. I wash them with soap and water in the bathtub, and periodically run them through the dishwasher. They open into half tubes, so they fit in the dishwasher really well. About once a month, if I remember, I wash all the plastic stuff, dishes and water bottles in the dishwasher. The rest of the time I run the water bottles through weekly, but use the Mr. Clean sanitizing cloths to wipe everything clean, or hot soap and water if it's been a rough week. I have to do my big cage clean on Tuesday, as I have chiro on Wednesday, so he can put me back together after I clean the cage. Awww- Momma looks so cute under the chair.. I just love her little nostrils, I know I'm weird.. I just think it's so cute! It looks like someone put eyeliner around her little nosey holes.. She's got those cute eyes like Mr. Chewy does too. ;D They would make a very cute couple wouldn't they? Wow- I need a dishwasher....that sounds like a great idea. Hope your back makes it ok through the BIG clean on Tuesday. Tell the chiro to fix you up good on Wednesday. I was going to email you today-but ended up running Blake all over trying to get some of his stuff ready for his Washington DC trip. I can't believe it's almost here already. As usual I'm a day late and a dollar short! Hugs to you & snuggles to the kids!! ps..I totally agree with you on the piggie pre-school..

I'll try to get a close up of her hands. She has the cutest little hands that are so much darker than the rest of her. She stands with them splayed out to the side, and just looks sooooo cute.
Ooh, Blakes going to DC. Our schools canceled the annual trip after 911. Daughter got to go when she was in 8th grade, but after 911, no one got to go anymore.
I love piggy noses, and yes, her little eye-liner nosey is too cute. The kids love to sit under the chair and look out. It's their big hidey when they're out of the cage, as the other hideys only hold one piggy. I usually have a weewee pad under the chair, and put hay under there for them.

Zippy got plugged up today. The girls had gone back in the cage after an afternoon running around the room, and Zippy was lying on the floor at the foot of the entrance ramp, not going back in the cage. I picked him up, and he snuggled into me and just lay there for the next two hours. I was so worried about him, as he didn't talk, and he always talks, and he wasn't pulling at my shirt or changing position. No goopy eyes or running nose. No hard breathing. Just a miserable little piggy boy who wanted Mommy. Finally, after my back gave out from sitting there, and my legs went numb, he started to pop and squish, and out came the poos. They were dry, so I knew he'd been plugged up. I got him some lettuce, and he was so desparate for something to drink/eat, he grabbed it and took off the end of my finger. Daughter came to my rescue with a wad of toilet paper for my bleeding finger, and carpet cleaner for the blood that fell on the floor. It was another half hour before he decided he wanted to go back with the other kids, and I put him in the cage. I'd offered him a carrot piece, and he didn't eat it, his favorite in the whole world, so I knew something was wrong. Next time, I'll remember to throw the lettuce in his general direction, and get my finger out of the way, lol. I was so touched that he wanted to be with me, not on his own or with the other pigs, but with me, when he felt so miserable. It was a long 2.5 hours, and my right pinky is going to be sore for days to come, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Ohhhh...Poor Zippy and poor you! I'm so sorry that he accidently bit you. I know he loves you so much there is no way he would have done that on purpose.
I'm glad he got unplugged. Poor guy...he had to be so miserable.
Hope your finger and body recover quickly from your very rough night!
Give all the kids snuggles from me!
All the boys are sending you lots of snuggles so your finger gets better soon!

Ok it's been a few days so....
How is your finger doing? Is Zippy ok now? Did you survive the big cage clean ok?
Inquiring minds want to know..
Plus it's been a few days of no new pigtures or stories!
What's up with that 3Piggles?
Just kidding- but hope your finger is better and the chiro fixed you up good yesterday. ;D

Finger's doing fine, and so is Zippy. He's back to his old self, talking all the way up and down the tubes, and sticking his nose in everything. Still, it was so nice to snuggle him for so long. I'm attaching a poo plant picture. It's an Easter Lily I bought last year, that was okay last year, but wasn't doing much this year. I have a feeding station for the kids on the office floor, with a little bowl of pellets and a little bowl of water. Whenever the water got low and there were poos in it, I'd add a little more water, swish it around and empty it into the plant. The plant took off, happy as a pig in...and look at it now. I think it's doing great considering we've had so much snow and rain, it's had hardly any good sunlight. Momma pics to follow!!

I promised Momma pics. I tried to get her face on, so I could show her uber cute feet, but she had other plans. At least I got one side of feet, lol. She went back in the cage while the other two were out, and trashed a pigloo to make it comfy. Then I came along and took the pigloo so I could get pics. She wasn't very pleased, lol.

Makes me wanna get some nail polish out and paint her nails to show them off! She is adorable! She looks like she is saying to you, "Aw Mum, could you hurry up and lets get this over?!" lol
