I tried to reply to this thread and got the message that I couldn't reply because the subject was too long. It said the subject can only be 50 characters, and it's 51. I tried three times, since I didn't write the post, only tried to reply, with no luck. I noticed at least Newpig has replied, so it let some replies go through. Any ideas on why I can't reply? wheekers.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=care&action=display&thread=10971

Do you not get the option to change the subject for the reply you post (so you could delete some of it out)?
If you still can't reply, we could edit the original title and see if that helps? I'll have a look and see if I can find why it might have happened.

The subject was for the original thread. I didn't enter a subject for the reply, so I don't want to change the original subject, as it's not mine. I just checked that thread and I did manage to reply later, without changing anything in the subject?

I don't want to change the original subject, as it's not mine. I only mean like taking the 'Re:' stuff out, not making it unrecognisable. I remember doing it on another forum because once it added a 're' it often deemed the subject too long.
