I think the buddy bath will be the main thing in the reintroduction, as it lowers everyone to the same level, new pigs, former pigs, old pigs, young pigs. It is a shared experience that just forces them to put up with each other. Then into a large neutral space to start. Make sure you don't have any closed houses or anything where the babies can get trapped, so that won't be an issue. They have to work it out, and probably will because returing Tia and adding the babies will change the herd dynamic so much.
If you can, rearrange the totally cleaned cage, too, so the returning girls don't feel any connection to the cage as the place they've been on their own. Good luck!!!
Jeanine, that is a great How To on the hammocks!!!

Thanks for the advice, I gave them all a bath, before when they had one they were ok, but they hated this and was litterally trying to jump out of the bath bless them. The cage was all cleaned out and once i put them bk in things went ok. Honey the baby was crying a little bit as was scared but now she sticking to momma and everything seems to be ok, not much dominance behaviour going on, so fingers crossed. I am just worried about stewie he has always been the quiet one and I hate the thought of him being on his own for a month but i have no option. I keep giving him plenty of attention and cuddles where possible.

I kept Dexter apart from the girls for 6 weeks after his neuter op and it was sad to see him alone. He was in the shed with them but confined in the hutch. He knew they were there and they could chat to each other so he had company but not the same as having friends to chase round and cuddle up to. I'm glad I did the 6 weeks as have absolutely no concerns that he could make babies after that time. I'm sure Stewie will be okay, especially with all the extra cuddles.
Glad the intros have gone well so far.

I'm glad the intros went well, and the girls are back to normal again. It might help to do a buddy bath when Stewie joins them. That will be up to you. I think it would have helped when I introduced Zippy to the girls. Hindsight and all that, lol.

3 Piggles, Stewie wont be joing them I am afraid, he is going to be looked after by a friend of mine who has another boy piggie who she would like company for. She is reading up as we speak on introductions and I have given her all the advice I can, But he wont be being picked up till the middle of April. So plenty of cuddles till then.

Yeah stewie does not really fit in, but he is the sweetest out of all of them, he just cuddles up to me when i have him out for lap time. dreading the day he goes :-(. They made me laugh this morning all of them for the first time were all lined up waiting for their morning veggies all sniffing the air and giving me kisses. Even little honey had joined them!

Stewie is a cutie, the black sheep - lol. Your pigs make a lovely coordinating set, all the cream shades and lavender look so amazing together...and little black Stewie is a lovely surprise to see in the mix. My girls don't match at all, not one color the same - lol

Just wondering, I am thinkin of changin to fleece, i have no issues with the vet bed apart from the piggies keep managing to get under it, so i was thinkin if I had fleece i could clip it to the sides of the cage, is there any type of fleece i should be getting?
