I've liked Elijah Wood and Viggo Mortenson. I think Orlando is very cute, but all my friends had crushes on him so I wanted to be different. Now I like someone more... hmm... mmm... let's not go into that.

This crazy American has always loved Robbie Coltrane! Long live the Scotts! Clover, I got to see Artie Garfunkel in concert a couple of months back. He's still got it! He has been writing poetry and putting it to music.

I've had a crush for 25 years on the actress Stacey Travis, who primarily did comedy bits, although the first time I laid eyes on her she was in a sci-fi/horror movie. I thought she was absolutely mesmerizing... On another board devoted to that sci-fi/horror movie I dedicated a thread for pictures of her, all in good taste. Several years go by and apparently she found out about it, signed up as a member and sent me a private message asking me if I wanted an autographed picture of her! *swoons* That was five years ago. I can't get over her.

Oh how cool is that?! I bet you couldn't breathe when she sent you that message!
But naughty, naughty for pulling up an old thread that reminded me I had a childhood crush on Michael J Fox - haha! Also just realised this forum has been going for over 10 years - crikey!
I bet Jo will be on later, talking about Jon Bon Jovi...

Oh how cool is that?! I bet you couldn't breathe when she sent you that message! I did actually send a private message to the site admin asking him if this was some sort of cruel joke, but he thought it was the real deal. His quote: "Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to have provided you a medium to pronounce your undying idolation to her - trust me, I know what it's like to get in touch with someone who has made a lasting impression through their work."
She also sent me some lobby cards from the movie. Since she went above and beyond what I would expect from a busy Hollywood celebrity, I don't bother her with any requests.

It is s nice when celebrities bother with their fans like this because at the end of the day, their fans put them where they are.

I've never been such a big fan of anyone, that I would pay for a concert or plaster my room with posters. I bought all the Beatles albums, but never went to a concert. Being an introvert, thousands of people gathered around me, all screaming and yelling, isn't my idea of fun. My daughter was a huge fan of Green Day, and had her whole room plastered with their posters.

Oh it's probably as well Jo, you don't want to cause mass fainting!
While we were in Liverpool at the weekend, we did a few Beatles things (mainly for my 8 year old daughter who is a big fan of their music) which was fun. They do offer trips like driving out to see the houses they used to live in, but we couldn't quite see how that would be a good use of time, or especially interesting to us?! It's quite crazy how much tourism there still leans heavily on The Beatles, but it's a great place to visit, so I'm glad they have that extra pull!
But yes, being amongst the screaming hoards wouldn't have appealed to me either, 3piggles, no matter how much I enjoy their music!
