I am not having much luck and I am sorry that you only have two large photos of Fluffy. I think I will try again tomorrow but if anyone can help further, I would be very grateful.

Hi Jo I moved the pictures of your gorgeous bunnys and your very hairy spiders (sorry they scare the living daylights out of me!) into Pet Parade. I can see that you uploaded your pictures to photobucket and you got the right IMG code etc so almost there. Personally I prefer to resize my photos before uploading them to photobucket as they upload much quicker. I have a MacBook so just use Preview for each resizing. On a PC you can use Adobe photoshop if you have it or there is a tutorial on how to use some free software called Irfanview to resize. wheekers.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=feedback&action=display&thread=6185If you prefer to let photobucket do the resizing, you upload the picture and save it. Then click on the picture and hover over it to get some tabs appear at the top of the picture. There is an Edit function and a Resize button and you can resize your picture through either of those. Then save your changes and get the IMG tag. EDIT: to add - you could use this thread to try posting the resized pics and once got them sorted go to this first post - hit EDIT - and then you can change the title of this thread so that you can continue to use it to tell us tales of your piggys. Jo, I've also merged your two threads on how to post pics to avoid cross over posts. Let me know how you get on and if still not working will see what can do to help.

If I recall correctly, and it's been ages since I checked, you can set a default size for your pics in your preferences on Photobucket. All forums seem to have the same picture guidelines, so I used that as my default, and so far, it's worked fine. I only have to change it if I make photos into avatars. So check your preferences, in your account, on Photobucket, and there should be some preset sizes you can choose.

Thank you so much for your kind help, I will certainly give it a try. I am not very good on computers and it has to be simple. I am afraid I am completely unfamiliar with infraview but I will follow your instructions and suggestions and see if we can't get somewhere.
Thank you darlings.

You can also resize your image on the proboard post using a modification of the IMG command. img width=500 height=300]http://sitename.com/1.jpg[/img Note: Add a [ before the first img and then ] on the last. I had to remove them to the example would post as text and not show an image. Change the width and height values as needed. A benefit to this is users can do a "view image" in their browser and see the full sized but it can be cropped to fit the message board. Picasa - picasa.google.com/ and Paint .NET www.getpaint.net/ are two other great free photo programs for those with PC's.

If you down load paint.net you can do a lot including resizing photos. It is a free version of photoshop.

Paint .NET is more powerful but harder to use. Picasa is easy as pie, and it EXCELLENT at removing red-eye. Worth keeping around for just that process.
