I don't think it's murder if the victim complies and encourages it. You've ruined my fancy theme!

Of course it is. You assist someone to suicide, you will be charged with murder. Carry on with the theme, Crouchy!

I think he was talking satisfation-wise, rather than legally. You've ruined his appetite!

Let the battle commence with this new theme!
(And really, staff members - this time just stick a cork in it!)

Ok the only thing I can think up of at the moment is that four of the pictures are the symbols for playing cards. You have Spade, Heart, Diamond (ring) and Club (Mick Jagger picture). You could argue that Hole is also called an ace and the Beatles album encompasses all the other numbers and royalty. That leaves the 60th anniversary which would be 1952. Take away the 19 and you find there are 52 playing cards in a deck. The Beatles album bit I'm not entirely sure of but megh
EDIT: the underlying theme would be cards!

*sees 60th anniversary* *first thing that pops into head*
The queen's diamond jubilee??
Well, actually, the very first thing I thought of, seeing crouchy's post, was the Rolling Stone's 50th anniversary. But of course, it's a decade out, and that isn't actually a Mick Jagger pic...so I guess it isn't?

the underlying theme would be cards! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO! Well done Crouchyy! The pictures all represent suits of playing card - we have a spade, a diamond ring, the Beatles' 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart Club' album cover (and one of the tracks on that is 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' - hence the double whammy), a diamond wedding anniversary balloon, a cow heart, a night club (don't think Mick Jagger's there, mind) and a golfer playing golf with clubs (what else?!). You could argue that Hole is also called an ace Could you?! That leaves the 60th anniversary which would be 1952. Take away the 19 and you find there are 52 playing cards in a deck. Sorry, where did you learn maths?! Still, I won't knock you seeing as you are the WINNER - have some karma.

YAAAAY! I LOVE THESE GAMES. WE NEEED MOREE RIDDLESS. FEEEEED US!!!1
EDIT: Guh! The Anniversary was the coolest of them all. 60 year anniversary from today would be 1952. So back then the year was '52 which is coincidentally how many playing cards there are in a deck.
1-10+3 royals=13 4 suits = 52.
I'm starting to think this wasn't intentional

Oh right, I thought you meant 1952-19=52, and that didn't add up, and I couldn't think where the 19 sprung from either!
If I'd have noticed that, it would have indeed been a pretty cool layer to the puzzle though...
EDIT: I've given you an extra karma from my own pocket for the 52 thing - it's sort of the equivalent of a doggy drop.

I've just stuck a new avatar theme up - who will guess it first, anaira or crouchyy or even some new blood?!
Janet, I think you would definitely get this one if you put your thinking cap on!

At the moment I'm thinking Dr. Seuss titles. Green eggs and "Ham", "Cat in the Hat", One Fish Two Fish "Red Fish" Blue Fish, The King's Stilts. The others don't really fit my theme unless Sam Neill is Sam I am from Green eggs and the picture of the book is meant to be Dr Seuss' medium. Lonestar piggies picture has the "I am I am" bit but I think that's just a coincidence.
Am I on the right track or way off?
EDIT: Another idea might be the Tudors show. Haven't watched it but Sam Neill is in cast and involves Henry the Eighth

At the moment I'm thinking Dr. Seuss titles. Am I on the right track or way off? Not just on the right track, you've got it! Also represented are Dr. Seuss's Sleep Book and Mr. Brown Can Moo. And I am indeed Sam I am. Was it too easy?!

Haha I think they're pretty hard but more likely we just have the same brain type or something too. I throw random ideas till something sticks and I was just lucky this time round. I'll whip one up soon so you can have a go
