There are a few changes afoot at the moment that the eagle eyed amongst you may be noticing!
Firstly we have made the decision that tribute threads for pets that have passed away will now be included in the 'meet the pig' or 'pet parade' forums rather than being a separate forum, as we think that whilst these threads are always very sad, this will be beneficial for the feel of the forum and lessen the likelihood of old threads (in what was thankfully a fairly quiet forum) getting bumped which often causes upset. We will be moving all the threads to the proper forums over the next week or so, so please bear with us while we do this.
Also we have some staff changes with a few mods and guides with busy lives stepping down whilst they are unable to get on to Wheekers much. We'd like to say a big thank you to all the help they have given us over the years, and those positions will remain open for those members should they have more time to come on in the future. And we hope that everyone will still stop by to say hi and keep us posted with their lives as we miss you all!
Lastly, I have already made an announcement about the karma feature which has been added, and it looks like most of you are having fun with it (and only one or two rogues are abusing it....). As newpig posted, we will also be awarding karma points for the owner of pig of the month (2 for the winner, 1 for the runner up) and will have other ways people can add to their score! We will also be having an ongoing competition relating to the staff avatar themes - guess what it is and you could win some karma points! You can read more about that here!
