I would like to make an introduction for my other pets as well. Chi-Chi our lone male mouse. Adopted March 2011. He was badly beat up when I first got him. When we first got him: This picture does not do his "beating" justice. He was housed with an aggressive male (Which most males tend to get when they age). He had a huge scab and many bite marks on his tail. Now: He is a fat mouse at 60gs, I looked it up and he's supposed to be 30gs. Can you say spoiled!

Next is Merlin. We bought him from a man who works with my husbands uncle. He is 8.5 months old and cute as a bean! He's a Yellow Bellied Cooter Turtle. My husband's pet but I mostly do the care work. Tummy shot. Right now he is 3" but once full grown he will be about 8-12". He's going to need a 200 gallon tank and will live for 30+ years.

You have a great group of pets! I love Beannie and Isis and the video of them is super cute! Chi-chi loves awfully cozy in those pics.

What a lot of little loves you have sweets. I usee to have a couple of ferrets. Is Merlin pettable or can turtles be a bit snappy?
Thank you for sharing these with us.

Chi-Chi is so cute. I love the second picture!!! Until Momo pulled the hair out of Mia's back, I had no experience with a bullied and attacked pet. Knowing how Mia felt physically and emotionally, I feel so badly for poor Chi-Chi. So glad he's healed and happy, and so what if he's a bit portly, lol!!!
Merlin reminds me of Tuck on Wonder Pets. He's adorable.

When I first got him everything I read said DO NOT handle your turtle. I found a red eared slider turtle site and they said that its wrong. Turtles that are not handled will get stressed and freak out (poop on you, bite at you, hiss and so on). Merlin gets handled everyday for short amounts of time. He takes food from my hands and likes shell and head scratches/rubs. He's really friendly and is waiting every morning for his food and every night for that matter, he loves food. Chi-Chi is very friendly but he prefers mum over anyone, I think its because I give out the treats... which could be why he is so portly. We have another new addition: Everyone meet Poseidon. For some reason my camera seems to make him look REALLY blue. He's more of a purple blue. He's living in a 7 gallon hexagon tank in my kitchen. Over the next few months I'll be adding in some freshwater plants. He's a very funny little guy and as I found out this morning he is not a morning person.

Ooh, he's gorgeous!!! If you're anything like me, you talk to him while you work in the kitchen, lol.
Lol, those ferrets know a good thing, and they have it!!!
I think most animals relate to one of the people most. I've found it isn't always about food, either. Momo love hub and so did Momma, yet he has/had almost nothing to do with the pigs, especially feeding treats. Zippy was MY pig. LG was no one's pig. It's a very individual thing.

What absolutely gorgeous pictures and I love the bit about Chi-chi liking his head being stroked. I am very hands on with my animals too love. Poseidon is a beautiful boy too. I love fishes.

Aw lovely pics, my heart holds close to the ferrets...I use to run a ferret shelter and ferretry, they are fascinating creatures and they ruled my life for over 10 years before forced to give up the dream. Loved watching the bath video, brings back lots of fond memories. Thanks for sharing, you have a wide variety of pet family.

Ferrets and Cats from what I have read are ok, but like guinea pigs, each ferret is different. Thanks Applebear. Yes I do have a wide range Here are some recent photos of Merlin. Who BTW is fat! So he's on a diet because being fat can cause WAY to many problems. Blowing bubbles... what fun! Basking Nose Shot... such a cute nose! Take a look at these chubby legs (back ones). Thats how I figured out he was fat, I posted that photo of a turtle forum and they were all "OMG he's fat."

He is absolutely beautiful and I think he knows it LOL!! Hugs Jo xx
