 I've recently found out my husband who "could care less one way or the other" about our two guinea pig girls has been sneaking down every night to give them treats to get them to run up and wheek at him and popcorn around their cage. This is in addition to the treats my son has been smuggling down almost nightly trying to teach them to sit up on command (they do). This is all on top of the normal veggies they get everyday. No wonder they're getting so plump!

Welcome to family life with pets!  Just adjust the amount of veg you're giving! PS: While my hub will ignore the pigs when I'm present, I catch him regularly chatting to the piggies behind my back! |

LOL Sounds like my husband. He calls them "damn rats" when other people are around but gives them treats and snuggle them when no one is looking, or so he thinks LOL.

My hub makes a lot of "other white meat" and "pork chops" comments, then sneaks them a treat when I'm not looking. I don't think he dislikes them as much as he claims he does, lol!!!
