Thought this stranger should introduce herself. I came across this forum and just had to join. I'm from jolly old england (manchester), and have only had 2 pigs in the past. Which I loved more than life itself. They were called dandelion and burdock and were golden agoutis Heres a pic of burdock: Dandelion was identical to burdock except had a narrower nose and was thinner (lets just say burdock had a big appetite.... ). Sadly dande died of an unknown cause (probably related to old age) overnight in march at nearly 5 years of age. Burdock had to be put down in august because of teeth problems. Very sad, but I'm getting new piggies on saturday. Can you believe my excitment? From a lovely lady nearby, I dont know much, but one is a baby abyssinian and the other is a one year old plain silver I think. Anyway, sorry for rambling on. This looks like a fun place

Thank you. Oh yes, I intend to go crazy with the camera when we get them (and of course completely spoil them with hay/veggies)..

A warm welcome to the forum Carrotflavoured!
Burdock was gorgeous, Dandelion must have been too - I'm sorry they're not with you any more, it's always hard. What lovely names for guinea pigs!
Let us know how you get on with your new piggers, and I'm looking forward to the photos too!

Yes they were very cheeky and actually quite clever. They always found some way to escape from wherever they were and go and explore thank you
