If so, you win a trip to the moon and beyond. No, I didn't sculpt them. And, yes, they are two of my pigs. I couldn't get the face of the white one ... it is kinda cute. More clues: www.guineapigfun.com/id35.html (I also have the Halloween pig.)

I can't win a trip to the moon (haven't really got time to go at the moment anyway) but it's a gorgeous sculpture - you must be chuffed to bits with it!

Yeah ... but I woke up this morning to a lot of "running laps" noise. They were fighting and Skipperdoo (the Texel) has a small spot above his lip. They have already been separated once for a couple of weeks but then Bobalou got depressed so I put them back together again. They were fine but they recently had been doing dominant mounting but taking turns and no fighting ... until today. I have Skip in a smaller cage since he seems a bit freaked out. They weren't fighing, chasing long since I was awake but in the next room in a small apartment. Below are photos of what they look like.

Yeah, Skipperdoo's now on meds for a week and I noticed a slight cut on Bobalou's lip. They have now confirmed that they will have their own studio apartments/flats ... no more of this double occupancy routine.

Aww gorgeous photo's Kathy!! I bet their coats take alot of work, keeping them tangle free.
Its always a shame when piggies don't get on, can they still see each other ?

Actually, this weekend I had to trim their fur since they kept mounting each other and it got tangled. Otherwise, I just keep it trimmed to cage-floor length and trim it shorter all over during the summer. As for seeing each other, Skipperdoo, who has the worse bite wound and who getting antibiotics for a week, is quite tramatized by it. I have him in a smaller cage away from Bobalou since he was freaking out in their larger cage when I put him back in it (minus Bob). He also freaked out when he saw him and any time I move when I hold him but he's getting more relaxed now. I put Skip's cage now near Pikachu's cage tonight so they could be near another pig. Pikachu is the one who Winston bit when I put them together. They were in my bedroom and did fine until I went to bed and then they started fighting. I hope Pikachu doesn't suddenly start shrieking in the middle of the night when he sees Skipperdoo. He likes to chat in the during the night and kept talking loudly to me in the middle of the night when he was in my bedroom. I think he lkes attention. Both he and Skip are very sweet pigs and both are Texels.

Well from the pictures you make a great piggy hairdresser My passed piggy Molly was a Peruvian and I used to cut her hair regular, but I was a terrible hairdresser lol Here's Molly Mop as I used to call her Before After a trim well it was for the summer months.Primrose is also in the photo, a lovely brown and white abby I,m sure piggies are abit like Elephants, somethings they never forget. Jake still chatters at Clover and runs off because he remembers the near fight they had ages ago. Has both boys ever lived together? they both sound very placid don't they.

Which two boys ... the two with the wounds: Skipperdoo and Pikachu? The Peruvians seem to be morw hyped up whereas the Texels seem to be more laid back and mellow. I had thought of trying Skipperdoo and Pikachu (both Texels) together or at least side by side. Skip and Bob have lived together for a while and only recently started more frequent dominance mounting. I'll need to wait a bit before I try Skip and Pik together ... need to wait for Skip to forget the attack and no longer cowers or flinches.
The only neutered males that I have/had were Huck and Finn and Winston and Charlie. Charlie was placed/adopted out and Winston went back to the person who asked me to help her place him ... (he went to his new home the next day). I've found that, unlike rats, neutering does not change the temperment of male guinea pigs.
