Lol Oh it does look like a pineapple top dosn't it, I think its some sort of dessert plant, it dosn't need much water and you just water the roots. Next time I go Treen, I'll see if they are still there.

I like plants that don't need much looking after lol. I have my herbs, but other than that I stick to cacti these days!

Lol, I must admit I'm being abit forgetful. Remember Sally the spider plant?, well she's shivering in the conservatory, I must bring her in so I remember to water her with the others lol
So you grown your own herbs, are they easy to look after?

Oh Clover, that piggie planter is soooo cute! I'm with you Treen, I rarely find pig stuff in stores- have to order it over the net. I too grow only herbs and one lonely succulant my friend INSISTS I try to keep alive. I have been known to kill cacti and I only know they're dead when they fling themselves out of the pot! I can't wait for the weather to get warm so I can plant. It's been so wet here all winter and last summer too which is bad for the herbs. Clover, herbs are really just weeds so they're easy to grow;don't even need good soil, in fact they prefer bad soil. And the animals leave them alone. I suppose 'cause they're so aromatic. My husband and I are big cooks so we use them a lot. We also grow all kinds of HOT peppers as we love spicy food. They like it hot and dry too and need very little coddling. Hope everyone, furry and not, are well! xoxoxo

I have been known to kill cacti and I only know they're dead when they fling themselves out of the pot! I think Sally spider plant will do that if I don't rescue her. I might try and have a go at growing herbs, I bet their smell is lovely to. I enjoy spicy foods to. I wish we had a green house as I'd grow tomatoes. I have to have them with almost every meal.

I'm with Kitty on herbs being easy to grow! My herbs often go through a major growth spurt when I forget to water them for a while lol. Apart from the parsley which is very thirsty, but the pigs remind me about that one!
It's so nice being able to use fresh herbs in cooking. We love our spicy food too, Kitty - I could live on Indian and Mexican meals!
