[glow=hotpink,1,000]You know those little grass things, at PetsMart, they are at the check-out by the cash register with the dog treat samples and dog clicks. Can guinea pigs eat them? It's like a mini plant but grass sprouted out. I'm afraid to feed my grass because the fumes from the lawn mower and everything! [/glow]

Don't know about any of these here in the Uk Kate I;m afraid! Have had a little go at grow your own though with dandelions! Just about the only thing I can actually grow (because they are a weed & grow themselves!). the piggys love them & had some leaves today. The old lady next door thinks I've gone bonkers though growing dandelions in a tub in the back garden!

It is still cold here in connecticut so I can't pick fresh dandelion yet but I can get bundles of it at my local store. It's in the special plant section.

Mine devour the whole plant, flower and all. I hope it's okay! Hey, I've never seen dandelion seeds, but then again I've never looked. Walmart's garden shop just opened for the season; I'll pop in today and take a look. I need a long flat, some soil, and seeds to grow the boys their own pesticide-free grass anyway. Vegan are you talking about those little containers of grass they sell for cats to nibble on? I gave my kitties those once, and they loved it. Then they turned around and barfed on the rug. Lovely.

[glow=hotpink,1,000]lol crittermon. I think so, its for any small animal. PetsMart have wheatgrass you can grow for guinea pigs or any small animals also.
I'm pretty sure they would have dandelion seeds. It's by the garden section. I'll have to look for them

I found dandelion seeds at Wal-mart. They'll be planted this week, as well as some new grass seed I'll start. I can't believe I've found a place to say this and be considered normal....I've always loved to pamper my pigs. My husband indulges me but thinks it's crazy.

Wuh, didnt petsmart give up in the uk because watchdog kept on finding out their animals kept dying? They didnt stay in the Uk for long at all thats for sure, Ive always heard stuff like that about them. Im personally not going to one of the 2 pet shops in my town anymore because they give animals away willy nilly, whereas the other one (petscorner) make you answer lots of questions and teach you lots and make sure you leave with everything you need for your pet, and if they think you're not good enough they dont let you have the animal. It isnt hard either, I wish all pets shops would do that.
