Hey guys! I was at the zoo for uni today but while I was there I took advantage of the free entry and made my way around the enclosures... no albino wallabies around but I did make some new friends! Firstly, an echidna out on a walk.. probably looking for ants or something A sleeping wombat... An asian elephant - aww check him out reeeeaaaching for some grass! Feeding time at the giraffe enclosure! Meerkats This koala just did *not* want to turn his head! I should have honked or something... Kings of the Jungle! It's a cat's life... look at them just lazing in the sunlight. Really there's not a lot of difference between these guys and beckee's cats as far as I can see! lol And finally... a really special-looking lizard I found out basking on a rock as I was walking along! (although he turned out to be a statue... but I didn't let that spoil the moment!) That's my account guys! How's my photography? If anyone needs me at their wedding all you need to do is ask!

Great pictures Teebers. I especially like the one of the meercats because you can see their reflection, so you get 2 images for the price of one! lol

Like the photos a lot. However, I'm very jealous of all you bright blue skies. I like the sleeping wombat.

Looks like a fun trip to the zoo Teebers. I really like that special-looking lizard that you found basking on a rock too. What a grand find he is! You are so lucky that he did not run away! I'm really fond of the Meerkats. I think they are just adorable.

Thanks everyone! Haven't you ever tried echidna milk?? It's quite nice, we have it all the time over here - they're the cows of Australia! But yeah, it was a fun day! We had a case study on red pandas but they were asleep or something so they wouldn't come down for their bamboo lol. But we powered on! Here's a random shot of the zoo vet guy and a tray of panda food (it was all about vitamin A toxicity!) ooo I'd love to! I'm sure I have a nifty tux in my wardrobe here so I'll fit right in. Is there a date??

I forgot to say. I like the wheelie bins in the last picture, are they a breeding pair?

Your zoo looks very similar to our zoo!

Great pictures Teebers! It looks a lovely place.
So next time you visit are going to stroke the Lions to see if they are just like Beckee's cats lol
Its unusual seeing 3 male Lions together, do you know if they were brothers? You could ask them while your attempting to stroke them lol
