I wasn;t sure which section to post this in so I apologise if it is wrong.
I am feeling very sad today, I found Roly Poly Loved-a-Lot, my dwarf hammie dead this morning. I have been really upset even though he had a good life. He was at least one when he was given to me and he has lived for two more years. It doesn't stop the pain though does it?
Just wanted to tell my friends.
Love and hugs

I'm so sorry, Jo. (((HUGS)))
No, nothing stops the pain. It just takes time to go from mourning their loss to celebrating what we shared with them.

I am sorry for your loss; however long you have a beloved pet, it's never long enough!

I'm so sorry, Jo, and you have my sympathy. As the others have said, the pain never really goes away. He'll always be alive in your heart and in your memories.

Rubbish news Jo Doesn't matter how small they are or how short a time they spend with us - its still hard to have to let them go. The happiest memories last the longest though

Thank you my darlings for such lovely posts. It is times like this you need your friends who understand exactly how you feel.
