Hello friends
I am just dropping you a note to say that the little piggies I have adopted arrived this morning. Poor Biba was so upset but she is going abroad and could not take them with her.
What a lovely couple she and Russel were too.
Mr Darcy and Lacy (I am keeping the names) have settled in very well. I am just adding the last name "Cuddle-Hugs" because all my piggies have that as part of their names.
Mr Darcy keeps peeping out of the nest box and darting back in again, they are super little characters.
As soon as they have settled Iwill take some photos, that is if they will keep stillfor ong enough LOL!!
Love to all.
Jo xx

Wonderful, Jo. Can you keep up with Biba with pigtures of the babies? I'm sure she is feeling so much better knowing they are with you, if they can't be with her. So glad you have two new babies!!!

Thank you my dear friends for all your kind comments. They have setlted in very well, having eaten a piece of courgette, sprout and a few greens today. The strawberry didn;t impress them but I have some mangoes ripening that they can try soon with my other babies. Please don't worry, I know they should't have too much of things like ths but I will make sure only a little is given.
Despite initial shynes, they have both come out today for a stroke. They love their food and seem really happy. I was so glad I could help Biba out, what a lovely couple they were she and her partner. Anyway, we will be keeping in touch regularly, so she knows how her babies are doing.
Biba bless her is going to wash their fleeces and send them to me. They have had an excellent life with her you should all have seen the luggage they bought with them LOL!!
Anyway, I will keep you up to date.
Love and hugs

That is so great, to be loved enough to have a lot of luggage!!! I don't think mine have that much, but I think I will be surprised when it's time to move them to the family room!

Hello friends
Thank you for all your kind replies; they are happily running around in their playpen, there is lots of chortling and rumbling going on and it is lovely to hear. New puddings guinea2010, I like it. Someone once described guineas as little warm sausages.
They have had breakfast and lunch and at the moment having a kip. When I russle their food bag for dinner they will be awake in an instant.
I will keep you up to date and thank you for your kind interest.
Hugs

Thank you again for yor kind replies my friends and you are right, I will have to get clicking. Please don;t expect David Bailey quality though I will do my best LOL.
They are absolutely gorgeous, Lacey is very vocal whereas Mr Darcy hides most of the time but still doesn;t mind having a cuddle.
I will keep you updated.
Hugs

I'm not surprised they are settling in so well. You have enough love and experience to make they feel right at home!

Oooh exciting news - welcome to Darcy and Lacey and I'm very much looking forward to getting a peek of them too! They have such a fab new home. I'm sure that although their previous owners are very upset not to be able to take them abroad, knowing how well loved and cared for they're going to be with you will make it a lot easier for them.

Well Treen and 3piggles, what lovely things to say, I am really made up about it. I certainly try to give my babies loving homes.
They are very well today, I gave them some cauliflour and they gobbled it up . Little Lacey is up all the time where as Mr Darcy grabs a piece of food and drags it into his bedroom, all you see is this little nose, it adorable to watch.
I will get some photos I promise; it is just that I am so lousy at it.
I will keep you updated.
Love and hugs

Oh Jo Congratulations on your new little pumpkins! They sound very happy and are very blessed to have your TLC! Can't wait to see pictures!
Mr. Darcy sounds like he suits his name! Was Lacy a character in a particular book also that her previous family named her after?
Warms little sausages and new puddings--love those nicknames!

Thank you for a lovely post Doodles love and I have posted some piccies on here, but of course, they are not very good.
They are actually the names they came with dear, so I have just put a "Mrs" in front of Lacey's name and added the last name "Cuddle-Hugs to both. You may welll be right about the name "Lacey" being from a book, I didn't think to ask Biba.
Thank you again for your very kind words and they are doing very well indeed.
Hugs
