I just have a question, I have been trying to save some money by clipping Lucy and Desilu's nails. I am getting good at it but every once in a while I catch the quick and I get blood. Is there something special to put on the end of the nail to stop the bleeding? I have been trimming Lucy's nails since she was diagnosed with her tumor. She is very touchy when it comes to being held and I am the only one that knows her tender spots to avoid. Plus it says me money by clipping them myself.
I have a first aid kit for my girls but I am missing the toe nail supply. To stop the bleeding. Any ideas?

If you get a little bleeding you can try sticking it in a bar of soap or flour to help cauterise it. Personally I like to use silver nitrate sticks if I hit a quick at the clinic.
