KassysFurryFriends Rescue recently had a mom pig with two pups dropped off at the rescue. After watching the pups for a little while it was found that they were acting weird. Kat took the pups out of the cage and looked them over. They are pure white, no teeth, blind and deaf, classic sings of being lethal guinea pigs. I have started a Fund Raiser to help them because they don't have paypal yet. Can you spare a dollar or more? canadiancomforts.chipin.com/donations-for-kassysfurryfriends-rescuePLEASE SHARE. *Treen Approved Post*

I am sorry; lethal babies can have a good life depending on the severity of their symptoms and access to a good vet for dental treatment.
Sadly, I am currently completely out of pocket between my cage makeover and supporting both my local sanctuary for piggies with special needs (mostly dental piggies, but including a pair of lethal boys) after an urgent appeal for vet cost funds as well my small local piggy rescue, who are struggling badly after finding 21 unwanted breeder's piggies dumped on their drive - and most of the sows are pregnant... After 4 births, they are already up to 19 babies, with at least another 5 more sows yet to go!
I have shared the appeal on my piggy facebook page, though!

Jo, Thank you! When and if you can help that would be wonderful.
Yodelpig: I know what you mean. She has a lot of her plate and sadly she is 4 hours one way away from me. I've sent in food and hay donations but the medical side will add up fast with these two. Sharing it is better than nothing, and I really am grateful for that.

I will help as soon and as often as I can. Not sure what that will be, but it's on my list! If the exchange rate isn't very good, would she like hay, or pellets instead of money?

Thanks Jo.
I do have sad news. Minnie the female passed away on the 29th. I meant to update this thread but I've been so busy. I have dropped the donation to $150 for Mickey the male, which we are almost there (we are at $129).

Oh sweetheart, I am so sorry to hear about Minnie ad I so wish you luck with the adoption. If my financial circumstances were to suddenly change, you would never need to worry again. I will see what I can do.
Hugs
