Hi and welcome!
Your piggies are all very cute indeed.
3piggles has already given you the detailed pregnancy/birth/baby and mummy care guide that I have written for the wheekerpedia. It should cover most of the questions that you may have, but please feel free to ask any more. We would be grateful, if you kept all pregnancy questions to one thread in the care section.

I have yet to have a pig that enjoyed blow drying. Instead, I use a heating pad set on the lowest setting and put their basket on that. They just snuggle into their dry towels and fall asleep! They have all liked being brushed, though, and I had one, Momma, who loved to swim. Otherwise, baths, nails and anything else is considered sheer torture! Not looking forward to doing Momo's nails, but the HAVE to be done!

I think it might be because i recieved nathan so young that ive gotten him comfortable with it. Craig was a bit older when i brought him home and he puts up a fight for everything. All my girla are short haired so i just wipe them down and do their nails which is a two person job lol

I have one pig with a curling nail on each hand. Don't know if she has some Teddy in her, but I have to back off those two nails a bit more. I have tried having someone help, but my family members are useless in that regard. So I am clipping a tiny bit at a time on those nails, and hoping that gets the quick to recede enough to do it regularly. They are like mutant nails on her hand

lol Craig my roan texel has nails like that. It took longer training my boyfriend to hold them for their nails than it was to train them to let me do it lol

My little Lolly has that problem with her last little finger, it is always curled over and makes it very diffitcult to trim. Hugs

The curly nails are hard to clip without the pig having a meltdown, but when they keep pulling away, it's even harder!

My Bingo pig has very curly toes which made it impossible for toenail clipping to be a one person job. Also, they all stick their noses in the clippers to stop me cutting! And Rory has proper man toenails - thick and chunky!
