How often do you cut the nails on your piggies?

I check how the nails are growing, as one of my pigs has a sort of sideways growing nail, and one seems to have nails that grow faster than the others. I don't have a set nail clipping time, and just do each pig as the nails start to look too long or getting wonky. There is a basic way the feet and hands should meet the surface. If you think they are unable to walk right because even one nail is getting too long, clip it.

We are both as blind as bats love so we take ours to the nurse at the vets.

My eyes are so bad, I wish I could take mine to get their nails done. No one in my area who does it I have a really good light over the kitchen sink. I put a bit of warm water in the sink and soak the nails for a few minutes, then I so one foot or hand at a time. I have a lot of trouble with the black nails, but right now only Morty has black nails. I just have to really concentrate on those, and not clip too much. I found having them standing in the little bit of water tends to make them just unsure of their footing enough to keep them from making a big fuss and trying to run away.
