We're fostering rabbits for our local small animal rescue Camp Nibble where we've previously adopted guinea pigs from, including our lovely boys Cadders and Josh. Our current little charges are two young sisters called Gingernut and Fudge (the kids got to name them!). They're staying with us for a couple of months until they're old enough to be neutered. They're the sweetest little things. Gingernut is inquisitive and very entertaining and Fudge is very sweet and a bit shyer - we're winning her round though and she'll now come over to us rather than instinctively bombing off to safety when she sees someone coming!

Nice when they realize they're in a good place. They are gorgeous, and they ate going to be totally socialized by the time they go up for adoption Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk

Thanks both! They're both doing well and definitely getting bigger (and pooping *even* more!). No luck with the litter training so far - they're actually going everywhere *but* the litter tray at the moment, but I understand it generally works a lot better after they're neutered anyway. We'll keep trying, no harm in that!
Gingernut is a hilarious little character, and has a very funny cheeky streak. Fudge is still quite shy and very sweet, but so much more relaxed with us after a couple of weeks. She and Gingernut together are so much fun to watch playing together. Some great binkies and I think they might actually be part greyhound from the way they run around too!

I have never had a rabbit, and know nothing about them. Those two rabbits are adorable though. Best of luck with them!

The good news is that a lovely new home has been found for Gingernut and Fudge. The kids faces did drop slightly when I told them but we are all happy for them and think they will make a super addition to someone's family. We'll still have them for another few weeks until they go in to be neutered.
Their hormones are kicking in and although they're still getting on well there's been a lot of mounting (or 'jockeying' as my 9 year old son calls it haha!) going on - especially when the sun is shining!

Forgot to introduce you to our new fosters - Sam and Alice. They're 2 and 5 and have been waiting a while for their new forever home so have come to us for a holiday. They are seriously adorable - really friendly and laid back. They have such a close bond so if they're not playing, relaxing or trying (and usually succeeding!) to get our attention, they're snuggled up grooming one another.

We sent the rescue some photos we took of them here with a little bit about how lovely they were and they ran a bit of a feature on them on their FB page. And guess what, they now have a lovely new home lined up! I'm so pleased for them as they are absolutely adorable. And also very happy their new family aren't quite ready for them yet so we get to keep them for another week or so - woohoo!

Is that the same whatever you're looking at FB on - phone, tablet, computer etc? Sounds very annoying anyway.
