I'm so afraid that Kili's gender was mis-filed!! Fili has been mounting "him" all day & he's not fighting back & trying to re-mount Fili as I would expect in 2 boys working out dominance issues!!! So worried...I don't want any baby pigs, I really hope I'm over-reacting!!! I'm not ready to be a "Grandmama"

Oh bless you, it is sometimes a dominance thing with two males, everything crossed that they aren't a boy and girl.

Have a look at this page on sexing - it has lots of photos that will hopefully reassure you there's been no mistake. If you can't tell then a trip to the vet to double check would be very wise! I have two boys and only one of them mounts the other. Lots of hormones and they squabble and rumble, but the mounting is always one way. Sometimes that means the passive one doesn't want to be top dog and is letting the other one assert his dominance, although that's not true in the case of my boys! Who knows what's going on in their heads when they act like this?!

Crisis averted Mounting is a sign of dominance with many animal species.
