It's fine thanks, I think it was worse for me than it was for him!
I'm pretty sure it's just semen congealing around his penis, and then he can't clean it properly and it builds up. He's always in the mood for love, so it anyone's going to have a problem like that, it'll be Josh!

Murphy's becoming more of a private pig, lately. He spends a bit more time concealed in his pigloo when he's not chomping on hay. When it's snack time, he does come out, but he'll prefer to drag his prize into hiding. I still see him outside, but usually when he thinks no one else is around.
This morning after his snack I found him with his head inside his pigloo, but the rest of his body outside! Of course, as soon as I grabbed the camera he had shifted around.
I think I need a surveillance camera setup to catch all these antics.

Some are like that Baz love, Merley was. If you went near him he would scuttle away and hide.

Piggy cam is the best! I used to have it, but now that the girls live in the main room with us, I don't really need it. I did love watching them when they didn't know anyone was looking. Zippy used to stay in his pigloo, and stick his nose out with his mouth open. That's how he got treats. Didn't mean he was being private. He was just weird

Another funny little quirk of Oscar's- usually when I feed the boys, I use a plastic bowl to dip into the bag of pellets, which I then pour into their little bowls in the cages. Oscar always reaches up and tries to eat the pellets that fall from the serving bowl, ignoring his usual bowl until I finish pouring. This is where I comment, "The good stuff is always on top, isn't it?" He does this every time, and it's hilarious.

LOL, I just fed the guys and saw something just a little different tonight! I gave Murphy his bowl of pellets and placed it just an inch or two outside his pigloo. Usually he pokes his nose out, grabs the bowl and tips it over, or flings it randomly in the air. Tonight he stuck his head out, snagged the bowl and smoothly dragged it into his pigloo for an evening of private dining. I have GOT to try and catch some of this on camera.

Ha ha, I would love to have seen that Baz love. He has figured out that he gets more if he pulls the bowl gently lol!

Minor addition to Murphy's antics: This morning I gave him his food, and he turned his bowl on its side, effectively creating a door to his pigloo- something he's done numerous times before- and later today I went to check on him and he had pushed the bowl back out, leaving it empty aside from some poop.
I am both amused and disgusted.

Lol, I had to get over the disgusted part, as those poops do end up everywhere Sounds as if Murphy has a lot of fun with his surroundings, and that's great

Since the addition of the house, the guys now sit in the dining room, where they can see us moving around from room to room. We all like this arrangement better, as do they. Now when I get up in the morning, I pass by them and already they start wheeking, mostly Oscar but I think Murphy puts in his two cents' worth every now and then. I'm just walking to the bathroom to wash up and shave, but I imagine their conversation runs along the lines of, "Why does that fool waste his time every morning removing the fur from his face, when he could be feeding us?" They do tend to quiet down after I exit the bathroom, as they know their morning snacks are just a few minutes away!

Ha ha, I love it Baz hunni. I love vocal piggies. Ours when we get them will be in the sitting room permanently as the previous piggies have been, because that is where we always are. The trouble is they can also hear the fridge door everytime it opens lol!
