That was lovely sweetie, thanks so much for sharing. Your daughter has just made me laugh by saying the ants are "gusting" and seeing "if something else is gross too." She really is a honey.

Thanks again, everyone. Jo, she's commenting on the moss that's flowing in the streams. "Daddy, I want to see if that... if this pond is gross, too." There's more of her in Part 2! One little comment about this park: they sell no bottled water there. Instead, they have taps from which you can freely draw water from. Apart from a filtering process, the water is directly from the springs in the park! (and it is delicious!)

Wow, what an amazing place - such dramatic scenery. Your daughter is adorable - the expression on her face in the first few shots (first video) where she's jumping up and down is delightful!
My husband and I have a long running argument about whether water has a flavour of its own or not (once you factor out chlorine etc), so I won't show him your post!
Quite a shift from the usual music in these ones?!

I love the picture of your daughter, with the mountain behind her. Wonderful place! I think it's great that there are still places where the natural water is drinkable. Excellent way to eliminate trash, too!

Quite a shift from the usual music in these ones?! I do love The Moody Blues; especially their 80's stuff. But also, if you were to watch my entire Utah trip, it would take a whole hour! Therefore, I try to periodically insert some music that isn't quite so pounding and expansive for the next 60 minutes. It's good to have some more relaxing pieces throughout so the audience can breathe a little easier.

Even if it's long, it's great that you have these videos/slide shows to watch later, and remember the trips

I love some of the Moody Blues music to Baz love, Knights in White Satin (did they spell the Knights with a K or an N?) is always such a pleasure to listen to. I often wondered what it was really about and someone told me it was about gay lovers, something else for me to look up.

I can find no references to homo-eroticism to it, but even if it did it wouldn't change my positive opinion of the song.

It's funny, I've heard that song so many times and never even thought about what it was about - let me know if you find out, Jo!

Have you ever heard Bettye LaVette's version of Nights In White Satin? Her voice is much stronger than Justin Hayward's, I think.

Wow, I like the I'm Not The One song, by both artists, and Knights in White Satin was a really cool version. I like blues, and it definitely has the words for a blues song. Well done Bettye LeVette's voice reminds me of a cross between Janice Joplin and Bessie Smith, with her own style added. Nice

We're used to the Justin Hayward version, but I do like hearing other takes on familiar songs. It was interesting comparing the two different versions of I'm Not The One. I like them both.

Something from Utah again- a hummer ride along the Colorado River near Moab! My daughter's expression of terror was genuine at first, but she soon was rolling with it.

Beautiful scenery, and I love the music! That last scene, with the overlays(not sure if that's the right name) was really great
