I got some pomegranates at the market today. Is it OK to put a few seeds in the food bowl?

The seeds are considered too great a choking hazard to feed to guinea pigs. I checked with some other forums, and got the same answer from all of them. Sorry!

When I was eating some I realised my post was kinda dumb. It's been a long time since I ate them and I'd forgotten about that great big seed in the middle....

No such thing as a dumb question - it's always good to ask if you're wondering about something! You can bet your life that other people will have wondered it and others will wonder in the future!
Pomegranates alsways remind me of my grandma - when we were little she used to take us to the market and buy us a pomegranate each and then cut them open and give us a pin so we could eat then one seed at a time! It kept us busy all morning?! I remember loving the ritual!

I think I did something similar as a child Bean love.

Definitely a choking hazard. Not a dumb question though. I hope you enjoy the pomegranates.
